ケースは傷の見られない清潔なコンディションを保っており、オンオフ問わずさまざまなシーンで活躍できる一本です。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、白さの際立つ鮮やかなホワイトカラーが当時のままの表情を見せています。針・インデックスともに劣化はなく、ブラックプリントの剥がれも確認されません。全体的に質感が高く、丁寧に保管されてきたことがうかがえる個体です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

スナップバックケースでありながら防水性能を備えている点も特筆すべきポイントです。クラシカルなドレススタイルでありながら、しっかりとした実用性も兼ね備えており、ビジネスシーンにも自然に馴染む優れた一本です。

COMMENT

The IWC Ref. 1818 is defined by its slender straight lugs, which elegantly frame the contour of its round case. The dial features a silver sunburst finish that offers a sense of depth and dimensionality within an otherwise minimalist design. Its gently domed center—executed in a “bombé” style—reflects light in soft, shifting rings as the watch moves on the wrist. Surrounding the dial are pearl-drop minute markers, which trace the outer perimeter with subtle brilliance. Both the hands and applied indexes are accented with black printing on their upper surfaces, enhancing legibility while adding a refined contrast.

Inside, the watch is powered by the renowned Caliber 854B, equipped with IWC’s proprietary Pellaton winding system. Known for its exceptional winding efficiency—even with the slightest wrist movement—this movement continues to be a cornerstone of IWC's mechanical offerings, with a legacy carried into modern models.

The case remains in pristine condition, free from notable scratches, and is suitable for both formal and casual settings. The dial is in mint condition, showcasing a vivid white tone that retains its original brightness. The hands and indexes show no signs of degradation, and the black print remains fully intact. Overall, the watch exhibits excellent texture and has clearly been well cared for. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
