COMMENT

Ref.6426は、1960年代のロレックスを代表するシンプルなオイスター手巻モデルです。ケースはステンレススチール製で、直径約34.5mmのオイスターケースを採用。防水性と堅牢性を兼ね備えつつも、手巻機構によって自動巻モデルよりもスリムなフォルムを実現しています。ダイヤルはサンバーストが登場する以前の、電着塗装によるホワイト仕上げ。光を均一に反射するプレーンな質感が特徴で、艶の中にわずかに温かみを感じさせます。ノールミナス仕様で、アルファハンドとブルースチールの秒針が組み合わされています。インデックスは独特の構成で、3・6・9位置がくさび型、その他はバータイプ。フラットでやや大きめの王冠ロゴが配され、静かなフェイスの中に力強いアクセントを添えています。ブレスレットはオイスターリベットRef.7205、クラスプデイト65/4、エンドリンク60を装備。

This unique Datejust combines the refined identity of Rolex’s flagship dress watch with the sporty character of a rotating bezel. The case is crafted from stainless steel, complemented by a white gold bezel—an elegant two-tone configuration. The silver sunray dial retains the quintessential Datejust aesthetic, featuring slender polished bar indexes, while the rotating bezel adds a striking three-dimensional accent. It is fitted with the original folded Jubilee bracelet Ref.6251H, clasp code 71/4, and end links 55, consistent with the period configuration.

Though classically sized at 36mm, the elongated and substantial lugs give the case a confident wrist presence. The overall condition is excellent, with no deep scratches or dents, and the bezel teeth and edges remain crisp. The dial shows no significant aging, maintaining clean printing, precise minute track, and a fine brushed texture. The indexes, hands, and coronet logo retain their plating and brilliance.
