ツートンダイヤルが印象的なシーマスター。ケース形状はプレシーマスターや初期シーマスター Ref.2576 と同様の特徴を持ちます。この Ref.2657 はケース径が 36.5mm のジャンボサイズで、非常に長いラグがケースバックよりも下に伸びる独特のフォルムを形成しています。ダイヤルはシルバー基調で、仕上げの工夫により立体感のあるツートーンデザインを実現。インデックスにはアラビア数字がギルト仕上げ、クサビ型インデックスがエンボス加工で表現されるなど、当時の高度な製造技術が随所に光ります。ムーブメントには半回転式自動巻きの Cal.351 を搭載。このキャリバーは、腕に伝わる独特の振動が特徴で、自動巻き技術の進化を体感できる趣深いモデルです。  

ケースは整ったコンディションを保ち、目立った傷もなく全体にクリアな印象を与えます。ダイヤルにはツートンの中央に経年変化が現れています。針やインデックスは若干上面の質感に変化が見られますが、光を反射します。夜光塗料は美しいベージュ色に焼けています。弊社にて分解清掃済みですので安心してお使いいただけます。

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。

A striking Seamaster featuring a two-tone dial. The case design shares characteristics with the Pre-Seamaster and early Seamaster Ref. 2576. This Ref. 2657, however, boasts a jumbo-sized 36.5mm case with exceptionally long lugs that extend below the case back, creating a distinctive silhouette. The silver-toned dial utilizes refined finishing techniques to achieve a three-dimensional two-tone effect. The indices showcase a combination of gilt-finished Arabic numerals and debossed wedge-shaped markers, reflecting the advanced manufacturing techniques of the era. Powering the watch is the half-rotor automatic Cal. 351, a movement known for its unique oscillating sensation, offering an immersive glimpse into the evolution of automatic winding technology.  

The case remains in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches, maintaining a clean and well-preserved appearance. The central portion of the two-tone dial exhibits signs of natural aging. While the hands and indices show slight changes in surface texture, they still catch the light beautifully. The luminous material has developed an attractive beige patina. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop, ensuring reliable performance.
