COMMENT

1970年代に販売されたオーデマ・ピゲ。クォーツショックの最中、機械式時計として手巻きの2針ドレスウォッチが隆盛を極めた時代の一品で、名門ならではの飾らない美しさが際立ちます。ダイヤルは深みのあるネイビーカラー。一見するとダークネイビーですが、サンバースト仕上げにより光の加減でダークグリーンにも映る秀逸な色合いです。ケースは「テレビジョンカット」とも呼ばれるスクエア型で、四隅が丸みを帯び、しなやかな金の素材感を堪能できます。ラグのあるモデルも存在しますが、本品はラグのないデザインで、スクエアフォルムの美しさが際立っています。

搭載ムーブメントはCal.2003。五姿勢および温度補正を施した、当時の手巻き機構の最高峰とされるムーブメントです。ワンオーナー品であり、オーデマ・ピゲ純正のクロコダイルベルトとバックルが付属します。

本品はNEW OLD STOCK（未使用品）。ケースエッジのシャープさ、ミントコンディションのダイヤル、未使用の革ベルトなど、当時の品質を知る貴重な資料ともいえる保存状態です。ケースバックには当時のシールがそのまま残り、針やダイヤルプリントにも経年変化は一切見られません。

ヴィンテージウォッチの中でも、このような極めて良好な状態の個体は、価値を維持するため整備を施さずに保存されることがあります。本品も分解掃除を行わず、次のオーナー様の判断に委ねる形でお渡ししております。現状のまま販売しておりますが、以下の作動テストを実施済みです。これらの数値は参考値としてご覧ください。

驚くべきはケースの厚み。全体で約4.7mmという超薄型設計により、ドレスシャツの袖元を邪魔しません。搭載される自社Cal.2003の厚みはわずか1.64mmとされ、オーデマ・ピゲの技術力の賜物といえます。流れるようなラインと仕上げ、適度な金の重さが手に馴染み、手に取るたびに魅了される一本です。

COMMENT

An Audemars Piguet timepiece from the 1970s, a period when hand-wound two-hand dress watches flourished despite the Quartz Crisis. This model exemplifies the understated elegance that defines the brand’s heritage. The dial features a deep navy hue that, at first glance, appears dark blue but shifts to a dark green under certain lighting conditions due to its refined sunburst finish. The case, known as a "television cut" square, has softly rounded edges, allowing the warmth of gold to shine through. While some variations include lugs, this particular piece is designed without them, emphasizing the pure beauty of its square form.

The watch is powered by the Cal. 2003, a hand-wound movement considered one of the finest of its era, featuring five-position and temperature adjustments. This is a one-owner piece, complete with an original Audemars Piguet crocodile leather strap and buckle.

This is a NEW OLD STOCK (unused) timepiece. The case edges remain sharp, the navy dial is in pristine,  good condition, and the leather strap is unworn—all preserved as a valuable reference to the original quality of the era. The case back retains its original factory seal, and there is no visible aging on the hands or dial print.

Exceptional vintage watches in such well-preserved condition are often left unrestored to maintain their original value. This piece has not undergone servicing, allowing the next owner to decide on any future maintenance.
