希少モデル、タンクオビュカドラン。華やかな金無垢のケースは、正方形のベゼル部分に溝を掘り、ブルーエナメルのローマ数字を埋め込む技法が用いられています。砲弾型のラグデザインが薄い時計をより際立たせます。ダイヤルは全面にダイヤモンドをセットしています。輝きの強いダイヤルの中で、針が影となり識時します。純正のブレスレットはヘビのような造形です。こちらも両隅にダイヤモンドを配し、特別な個体であることを表しています。ブレスレットの調整は、写真の状態から２コマまで外すことができます。メーカー修理明細書が付属します。

ケースはほとんど使用されていない、ミントコンディションです。スクエアケースにはエッジが効いており、ベゼルの鏡面やホールマーク、エナメルなど全てが良い状態で現存しています。ダイヤルも非常に美しいコンディションです。ダイヤモンドの輝きを阻害するダメージは確認できません。ブレスレットは使われた形跡を感じさせないコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

この時計のデザインのルーツは、戦前の貴族による特注品にあります。砲弾型ラグを特徴としたタンクオビュは1920年代にデザインされた歴史的モデルですが、1980年代にこのタンクオビュ・カドランを経て1990年代にようやく復刻されたものでした。カドランは生産数が少なく、市場での出回りがほとんど見られませんが、このブレスレット付きの個体は尚のことです。当時のアール・デコな様相のカルティエを表した、希少なモデルです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。

Rare model, Tank Obus Quadrant. The glamorous solid gold case employs a technique of carving grooves into the square bezel and embedding blue enamel Roman numerals. The bullet-shaped lug design accentuates the slim watch. The dial is fully set with diamonds. Within the brilliance of the diamond dial, the hands create shadows for timekeeping. The genuine bracelet is serpent-like in design, with diamonds placed at both ends, indicating its special nature. The bracelet can be adjusted from the condition shown in the photos to remove two links. Manufacturer repair invoice is included.

The case is in nearly unused, mint condition. The square case features sharp edges, and the mirror-like bezel, hallmarks, enamel, and all components are in excellent condition. The dial is also in very beautiful condition, with no damage that would hinder the brilliance of the diamonds. The bracelet is in a condition that does not indicate signs of use. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

The design roots of this watch trace back to custom orders by aristocrats before the war. Tank Obus, characterized by bullet-shaped lugs, is a historic model designed in the 1920s, but it wasn't until the 1980s, through this Tank Obus Quadrant, and finally in the 1990s that it was resurrected. Quadrant had a limited production, rarely seen in the market, making this specimen with the bracelet even more exceptional. It represents a rare model depicting the Art Deco aspect of Cartier at the time.
