COMMENT

肉厚ケースに軟鉄製二重蓋で磁力への耐性に特化したインヂュニア。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ。＜寄り目＞と呼ばれるデイト表示が特徴的で、カレンダーディスクが内側に寄っているIWCらしいデザインを採用しています。針は鏡面仕上げされたドルフィンハンドの時分針と、細くまっすぐな秒針です。多面カットのクサビインデックス、縁取りされ強調されたドット夜光は1950年代まで要素が強く感じられます。純正のお魚リューズ、キャッツアイロゴのデベソバックルを備えたゲイフレアー社製の純正ブレスが装着されています。

ケースは傷が少なく元々のプロポーションをよく残しています。ツールウォッチですが、使用はほとんどされてこなかったのでしょう。シルバーのサンレイダイヤルは劣化がほとんど見られず、当時の状態を保持しています。インヂュニアはエイジングにより雰囲気を大きく変えている個体が多いため、ミントなダイアルは希少です。針やインデックスは艶感が十分に残っています。ルミナスは色ベージュに焼け、形に崩れがなく美しい表情です。傷のない全体的に高評価なコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

IWCのCal.85系自動巻きムーブメントは、独自機構のペラトン式を採用しています。巻き上げの際には、ビーズを転がすような音色を鳴らします。その音量は他社製品と比べて、明らかに大きいことが特徴となっています。

This Ingenieur is designed with a thick case and a soft iron inner case to resist magnetic fields. The dial features a silver sunray finish and a distinctive "cyclops" date display, with the calendar disc positioned inward, reflecting IWC's characteristic design. It's equipped with mirror-polished dauphine hands for hours and minutes, along with a slim straight seconds hand. The multi-faceted wedge indexes and prominently outlined luminescent dots evoke elements from the 1950s. It comes with an original fish crown, a Cat's Eye logo deployant buckle, and a genuine bracelet made by Gay Frères.

The case exhibits minimal scratches, preserving its original proportions well. Despite being a tool watch, it seems to have seen little use. The silver sunray dial shows minimal signs of aging, maintaining its original condition. Ingenieurs often undergo significant changes due to aging, making a mint dial a rarity. The hands and indexes retain a sufficient gloss. The luminous material has aged to a beige hue, retaining its shape and presenting a beautiful appearance without distortion. Overall, it's in excellent condition without any scratches, having been disassembled and cleaned by us.

The Ingenieur was a culmination of all the knowledge from previous tool watches, designed for military, scientific, engineering, medical, and more extensive magnetic environments. You can enjoy its classical appearance typical of vintage Inters, housed in a solid case.

IWC's Cal.85 series automatic movement features the unique Pelaton mechanism. During winding, it produces a distinctive sound reminiscent of rolling beads, notably louder compared to other brands.
