語りつくされた伝説の植村ダイバーです。左右非対称のフォルムが特徴、竜頭をガードするためにその部分が膨らんだデザインになってます。竜頭には簡易ロックがついてます。

傷がつきやすいベゼルの状態が良いこと、ケースのエッジ、文字盤の夜光が黒くないこと、この３つのポイントがこの時計の価値を高めています。夜光塗料の色味がよく、素晴らしいコンディションです。

ムーブメントは6105Aにハック機能を付加した6105Bキャリバーを搭載してます。当店にて整備後、日差＋10秒、パワーリザーブは48時間で作動してます。ダイバーズウォッチですので水気には強い時計ですが、竜頭が当時のオリジナルのため防水性はないとお考えいただいたうえでお使いください。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

This is the legendary Umetsu Diver, a tale of enduring legend. Its asymmetrical form, with a bulging design to protect the crown guard, sets it apart. The crown features a simple lock mechanism.

The excellent condition of the easily scratched bezel, sharp edges of the case, and the luminous paint on the dial not darkened contribute significantly to the value of this timepiece. The luminous paint retains its color well, showcasing a fantastic condition.

It houses the 6105B caliber, an enhancement of the 6105A with added hacking function. Following our servicing, it runs at a deviation of +10 seconds and boasts a power reserve of 48 hours. Being a diver's watch, it is resilient against moisture; however, please note that due to the original design of the crown from that time, waterproofing is not guaranteed. Please use it with this consideration in mind.

The 1960s marked a pinnacle in the development of mechanical wristwatches, with Seiko making significant strides in both precision competitions and mass production, catching up to and surpassing the world's standards. Simultaneously, the era saw advancements in "electrifying timepieces," with Seiko leading the charge. In December 1969 (Showa 44), Seiko revolutionized the industry by introducing the world's first quartz (crystal) wristwatch, marking a significant shift from mechanical to quartz timepieces.
