語りつくされた伝説の植村ダイバーです。左右非対称のフォルムが特徴、竜頭をガードするためにその部分が膨らんだデザインになってます。竜頭には簡易ロックがついてます。

傷がつきやすいベゼルの状態が良いこと、ケースのエッジ、文字盤の夜光が黒くないこと、この３つのポイントがこの時計の価値を高めています。夜光塗料の色味がよく、素晴らしいコンディションです。

ムーブメントは6105Aにハック機能を付加した6105Bキャリバーを搭載してます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。ダイバーズウォッチですので水気には強い時計ですが、竜頭が当時のオリジナルのため防水性はないとお考えいただいたうえでお使いください。

BRAND

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

Presenting the legendary story of the CAPTAIN WILLARD Diver. Its distinctive asymmetrical form, with a design that swells around the crown guard for protection, sets it apart. The crown features a simple lock for added functionality.

Three key factors contribute to the heightened value of this timepiece: the well-preserved condition of the bezel, the sharp edges of the case, and the non-darkened luminescence on the dial. The luminous paint retains its vibrant color, showcasing an impressive overall condition.

Powered by the 6105B caliber, an evolution of the 6105A with added hacking function, this watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our team. While it is a diver's watch and inherently resilient to moisture, please note that the original crown lacks waterproofing features.

The 1960s marked a period of significant development for mechanical wristwatches, with Seiko achieving remarkable progress in both the accuracy competition and mass production fields. Simultaneously, the era witnessed the advancement of "electrification of watches." In December 1969, Seiko released the world's first quartz (crystal) wristwatch, steering a significant shift from mechanical to quartz timepieces.
