COMMENT

 通称「Anakin Skywalker（アナキンスカイウォーカー）」という名で知られる絶滅危惧モデル。ケースに超硬コーティングを施しており、ステンレスの耐久性が大幅に向上した仕様です。ユニークな八角形のツーピース構造。それぞれ同一の、ヘルメットのような大きな角度付きケースです。古典的な手動巻きキャリバー861ムーブメントを搭載。同じ期間のスピードマスターと同様です。文字盤はブラック、ブルー、レッド、オレンジと配色の組み合わせが素晴らしく、読時に優れています。

ケースは仕様による打痕が確認できます。コーティングの剥がれは致し方なく、この時計の味として捉えたいです。特有のケースフォルムや美しい鏡面仕上げはよく残っており、当時のままを感じ取れます。もともとホワイトだったであろうタキメーターのインナーベゼルは、肌馴染みの良い生成り色にエイジングしています。ブラックのダイアル、ブルーのミニッツラインに気になる劣化は見られません。センタークロノはオレンジが経年により芳しいカラーリングになっています。全体的なフェイドカラー、エイジングが素晴らしく、当店では高く評価しています。

Known by the moniker "Anakin Skywalker," this endangered model boasts a case with super-hard coating, significantly enhancing the durability of stainless steel. It features a unique octagonal two-piece structure, each with an angular case resembling a helmet. Equipped with the classic manual-winding Caliber 861 movement, similar to the Speedmaster of the same period. The dial, available in black, blue, red, and orange color combinations, is wonderfully designed for excellent legibility.

The case shows marks consistent with the specifications, and the inevitable peeling of the coating is considered part of the watch's character. The distinctive case shape and beautiful mirror finish are well-preserved, providing a sense of the original era. The originally white tachymeter inner bezel has aged into a pleasing ivory color. No noticeable degradation is observed on the black dial or blue minute track. The central chronograph hand has developed a delightful orange hue over the years. The overall faded colors and aging are remarkable, earning high praise in our shop.

The case, made of tungsten steel with excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, sets this model apart. The dial, packed with overflowing hues, complements the machinery used in the Speedmaster.
