数あるシーマスターの中でも、特殊なシーマスターコスミック2000のダイバーモデルです。70年代らしい近未来的な造形で、ブレスにダイヤルをそのままはめ込んだような、流れるようなシームレスなデザインです。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げ。ブレスレットは形状のユニークなRef.1205/217です。フルオリジナルであるからこそ違和感なく着けられる、全体を通して完成された意匠です。

貴重なパーツであるベークライトのオリジナルベゼルインサートに、ヒビがないことがポイントです。純正であっても後年のサービス品に交換されているものも少なくありません。ケースは傷は年式を考慮すると多くありません。ラグのエッジが効いています。ダイヤルはパーフェクトです。ルミナスは若干欠けが見られますが、肉眼ではほとんど気になりません。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

オメガは1970年代に1000番台の新型ムーブメントの登場とともに、COSMICラインを発表しました。防水性を考慮した、スリーピースケースの斬新な構造です。腕に乗せた時のどっしりとした装着感がたくましく、ダイバーなのにミニマルに着用できる時計です。同じような役割を担える時計はありません。ファッション性の高い、一味違う大きめのブレスレットの感覚で付けられる、ほどよく使い込まれたリアルヴィンテージウォッチです。

The Seamaster Cosmic 2000 diver model stands out among the diverse Omega Seamaster lineup with its unique and futuristic design typical of the 1970s. The seamless and flowing integration of the dial into the bracelet, along with the silver sunray finish, exudes a distinctive charm. The bracelet, a unique Ref.1205/217, complements the overall design seamlessly, emphasizing its originality.

A notable feature is the original bakelite bezel insert, which is free from cracks, a rare find as many have been replaced with service parts over the years. Considering its age, the case shows minimal scratches, and the sharp edges of the lugs add to its appeal. The dial is in perfect condition, and while there are slight luminescent losses, they are hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by us.

In the 1970s, Omega introduced the COSMIC line alongside the arrival of the new 1000 series movements. The three-piece case structure, designed with waterproofing in mind, provides a robust and substantial feel on the wrist. Despite its diver functionality, it offers a minimalistic and fashionable wearing experience.
