COMMENT

オメガの30mmキャリバーを搭載した一品。ケースサイドからラグへと流れるスムーズなデザインが特徴で、ツイストラグとスクリューバックを備えたオメガらしい高品質なケース構造です。 ダイヤルは、この年代ではほとんど見られないサンバースト仕上げ。バーインデックスとシリンジ針を組み合わせたデザインは、まるで10年後の時計の意匠を先取りしたかのようなモダンな印象を与えます。ムーブメントには、スモールセコンド仕様の30mmキャリバーの中でも円熟期にあたるCal.265を搭載。インカブロックの耐震装置を備え、実用性の高さも魅力です。  

現存の状態の良さは総じて、高い評価に値します。ケースは、ツイストラグのエッジが際立ち、優れたコンディションを維持。ダイヤルは年式を考慮すると非常に良好で、焼けがなく、引き締まった印象。ベージュに変化したルミナスの色合いが、ヴィンテージウォッチならではの魅力を一層引き立てています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。  

ミニマルな針やインデックス、スモールセコンドのバランスの取れたデザインを見た後に、本個体が1950年代初頭の製造と知れば、驚く方も多いのではないでしょうか。1960年頃のSeamaster 30などに見られるダイヤルデザインを彷彿とさせますが、インデックスやΩロゴは別作して植字したものではなく、ダイヤルと一体形成なため、1950年頃の当時の造りであることがわかります。シンプルながら、当時としては非常に先進的な意匠を持つ一本です。

The case design flows seamlessly from the sides to the lugs, featuring twisted lugs and a screw-back construction—hallmarks of Omega’s commitment to high-quality case engineering.The dial showcases a rare sunburst finish, an uncommon feature for this era. The combination of bar indexes and syringe hands gives the watch an unexpectedly modern aesthetic, almost as if it were a preview of designs that would emerge a decade later. Powering this timepiece is the Caliber 265, a matured iteration of Omega’s small-seconds 30mm movement. Equipped with an Incabloc shock protection system, it offers both precision and durability.

The case remains in excellent condition, with the sharp edges of the twisted lugs well-preserved. There are no significant dents or scratches, making this a highly collectible example. The dial is exceptionally well-maintained for its age, with minimal patina and a crisp appearance. The aged luminous material has developed a warm beige tone, enhancing the watch’s vintage charm. This piece has been fully serviced by us and is ready for immediate use.

At first glance, the minimalist hands, balanced indexes, and small-seconds layout might suggest a more contemporary design. Learning that this watch was produced around 1950 might come as a surprise to many. The dial design bears a resemblance to later models like the Seamaster 30, yet its indexes and applied Omega logo are not merely attached elements—they are integral to the dial itself, confirming its originality. A simple yet remarkably forward-thinking timepiece for its time.
