ケースは弊社にて仕上げ済みで、傷の少ない清潔感のあるコンディションを保っています。ダイヤルの質感はマットなまま変化が見られません。プリントにかすれは見られず、ムーンフェイズは退色が一切ない理想的な状態を維持。カボションリューズの貴石は劣化は見られず、ブレスレットは伸びの少ないコンディションが保たれています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在ではジュエラーとして名高いカルティエだが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初であった。アルベルト・サントス・デュモンという飛行家からの「飛行中に手を離さずに見ることができる時計がほしい。」という依頼が誕生のきっかけで、「サントス（SANTOS）」の名を冠した腕時計が1911年に一般発売された。

COMMENT

The screw motif on the bezel and bracelet is a distinctive hallmark of the Santos line, lending the watch a strong architectural presence. The dial features Cartier’s signature matte ivory tone, complemented by Roman numerals and elegant blued steel baton hands. At 6 o’clock, a moonphase display adds a refined touch befitting the brand’s jeweler heritage, while the blue spinel cabochon crown enhances the overall sense of luxury.

The case has been professionally polished and remains in a clean, well-preserved condition with minimal signs of wear. The dial retains its matte texture without any signs of fading or damage. All printed elements are crisp and clear, and the moonphase disc shows no discoloration. The cabochon stone is intact and vibrant, and the bracelet remains tight with minimal stretch. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our watchmaker.

BRAND

Though best known today as a luxury jeweler, Cartier played a pioneering role in watchmaking history. In 1904, long before wristwatches became mainstream, Cartier created one of the world’s first purpose-built wristwatches at the request of aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who needed a timepiece that could be read mid-flight without using both hands. This led to the creation of the “Santos,” which was made available to the public in 1911 and remains one of the brand’s most iconic designs.
