TIMORのイギリス陸軍官給品が入荷しました。

裏蓋のATPは“Army Time Piece”の略で第二次世界大戦中に使用されていたコード。当時は白ダイアルでその後、白が夜間に目立つことからミルスペックでブラックダイアルに仕様が変更されたのが“W.W.W.”で有名なダーティ・ダースシリーズです。
ダイアルは多少の経年変化はありますが、大変良い状態を維持しており、夜光塗料も当時のまま綺麗に残っています。特徴的なのが針の夜光塗料で通常針の裏側から塗るものですが、こちらは針の表から塗ってあります。ATPではよく見られる仕様ですが、理由としては視認性の向上やメンテナンス性からだと思われます。搭載キャリバーは、しっかりした造りの良い機械です。大戦中モデルは酷使された個体が多くこのように状態の良いものはなかなか見られません。

ベルトは当店オリジナルのピッグスキンです。ボックスステッチに定革が2つと当時のスタイルを再現したオールドスタイルベルトです。当店では各種ベルトをオリジナルで製作しておりますのでお好きなカラーや素材からお選び頂けます。交換ベルトは別途ご購入となります。

かつて世界中で多くの時計メーカーが乱立した時代がありました。その頃日本の為替レートは１ドル360円で固定され、輸入品はとても高価。その為、日本では知られていない時計メーカーが星の数ほど多く存在します。

We've recently acquired the British Army-issue TIMOR timepiece.

The ATP on the caseback stands for "Army Time Piece," a code used during World War II. Initially featuring a white dial, it later transitioned to a black dial per MIL-SPEC standards for better visibility during nighttime operations, giving rise to the famous "W.W.W." or Dirty Dozen series. While the dial shows some signs of aging, it's in excellent condition overall, with the luminous paint still beautifully preserved from its original state. One distinctive feature is the luminous paint applied on the front side of the hands, contrary to the usual practice of applying it on the back. This specification, commonly seen in ATP models, likely aims to enhance visibility and ease of maintenance. The caliber housed within is robustly constructed, as many wartime models endured heavy use, making well-preserved specimens like this quite rare.

Paired with our custom-made pigskin belt, featuring box stitching and two fixed keepers, this belt replicates the old-style design faithfully.
