機械式グランドセイコーの最終モデル、56GSです。安定した精度を誇るため扱いやすく、現代においても愛用するユーザーの多い時計です。ケースは槌目加工された18金無垢のトノー型。重さはケースと金無垢のバックルとつく棒含め48.7gです。バネ棒と革ベルトは含めていません。上面、側面、そしてダイヤルにも同様の仕上げを施した存在感のある意匠です。ティピカルなバーインデックスとバーハンドの組み合わせは幅狭でクラシカルですが、上面にブラックを配し読時性能の向上が図られています。機械は5姿勢及び温度補正機能を備えた、ノーデイトのCal.5641Aを搭載しています。

This is the final model of the mechanical Grand Seiko, the 56GS. Renowned for its stable accuracy and ease of handling, it remains a popular choice among users even in modern times. The case is crafted from hammered 18-carat solid gold in a tonneau shape, weighing 48.7g including the case, solid gold buckle, and pins. Spring bars and leather strap are not included. It features a distinctive design with the same finish on the top, sides, and dial. The combination of typical bar indexes and bar hands is narrow and classical, yet enhanced with black on the top for improved legibility. The watch is powered by the non-date Cal.5641A with 5 positions and temperature compensation function.
The case has minimal scratches and boasts excellent proportions, making it suitable for dress occasions. The dial shows no signs of aging and retains its original appearance. There are no signs of tarnishing on the hands or indexes, nor traces of water ingress. It has been disassembled, cleaned, and confirmed to have a 43-hour power reserve.
