機械式グランドセイコーの最終モデル、56GSです。安定した精度を誇るため扱いやすく、現代においても愛用するユーザーの多い時計です。ケースは槌目加工された18金無垢のトノー型。側面、そしてダイヤルにも同様の仕上げを施した存在感のある意匠です。ティピカルなバーインデックスとバーハンドの組み合わせは幅狭でクラシカルですが、上面にブラックを配し読時性能の向上が図られています。機械は5姿勢及び温度補正機能を備えた、デイトのCal.5645Aを搭載しています。付属のバックル、つく棒も18金無垢です。  

ケースはエッジの効いたもので、プロポーションが良いです。傷が少ないため、ドレスシーンでの活躍が期待できそうです。ダイヤルは1時方向外周に経年変化が見られますが、質感のあるダイヤルなので、さほど気になりません。針やインデックスは上面にくすみが見られず、入水の形跡は見られません。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

The final mechanical model of the Grand Seiko line, the 56GS, is renowned for its stable precision and user-friendly nature, making it a favored choice even today. The case is crafted from solid 18K gold with a distinctive hammered finish, extending seamlessly to both the case sides and the dial, creating a striking presence. The slender bar indices and hands, while classically narrow, feature black detailing on their upper surfaces to enhance legibility. Powering the watch is the Cal. 5645A, a date-equipped movement with five-position and temperature adjustments for superior accuracy. The accompanying buckle and spring bars are also solid 18K gold.  

The case maintains sharp edges and well-balanced proportions, with minimal signs of wear, making it an excellent choice for dress occasions. The dial exhibits some aging around the outer perimeter near 1 o’clock, but its textured surface minimizes visual distraction. The hands and indices remain free of tarnishing, and there is no evidence of water intrusion. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop.
