時計デザイナーとして有名なジェラルド・ジェンタが手掛けた「Cラインケース」が特徴的なコンステレーションです。ケースとラグを一体にデザインし、ブレスレットまで統一感をもたせてデザインしています。ブレスレットはRef.2036、エンドリンク056です。こちらはCラインのコンステレーションの中でも後継機で、アクリル風防からガラスに、また搭載ムーブメントは次世代機のCal.1021に変更されています。

スポーティーになりがちなCラインケースながら、シンプルなダイヤルを合わせてドレス感を失わない秀逸な意匠です。ペンシルハンドにバーインデックスの組み合わせは当時のドレスモデルのコンビネーションです。ダイヤルはメタリックなグレーでシルバーとの差異化が図られた、当時としては斬新なデザインだったことでしょう。オメガ純正のブレスレットを装備しています。ブレスレット単体での入手は難しいため、本体購入時に付属しているかどうかは大きなポイントです。

ケースは傷が少なく、元のエッジをよく残した良プロポーションです。ケースサイドにある鏡面の小さな面は均一に残っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。針やレターのブラックプリントは発色良く残っており、当時の質感をそのままに残しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

文字盤記載の“CHRONOMETER クロノメーター”とは、国際標準化機構が規定したＩＳＯ３１５９の基準に沿って、公的機関が姿勢や温度の差による厳しい精度試験を行い、クリアしたムーブメントにのみ与えられる“高精度”であることの認証です。

The Constellation, characterized by the distinctive "C-Line Case" designed by the renowned watch designer Gerald Genta, is truly remarkable. The case and lugs are seamlessly integrated, creating a cohesive design that extends to the bracelet. The bracelet model is Ref.2036 with end links 056. This particular model is a successor within the Constellation's C-Line series, featuring changes such as switching from an acrylic to glass crystal and upgrading the movement to the next-generation Cal.1021.

Despite the tendency of C-Line cases to lean towards a sporty aesthetic, this design maintains an excellent balance by pairing it with a simple dial, ensuring it retains a sense of elegance. The combination of pencil hands and bar indices was a common feature in dress models of that era. The metallic gray dial with its differentiation from silver was a fresh and innovative design at the time. It comes equipped with an original Omega bracelet, which can be a significant factor as standalone purchases of these bracelets can be difficult to find.

The case exhibits minimal scratches and retains its original edges, displaying excellent proportions. The small polished surfaces on the case sides are evenly preserved. The dial is in mint condition, with the black printed hands and letters maintaining their vivid colors, preserving the texture and feel of the era. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

The inscription "CHRONOMETER" on the dial refers to the certification of high precision in accordance with ISO 3159 standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification is awarded only to movements that have undergone rigorous accuracy tests by public institutions, testing for variations in posture and temperature.
