厚さ約8mmの薄型ケースを備えたコンステレーションで、ラウンドケースに力強い三面カットを施したストレートラグ、サンバースト仕上げのフラットベゼルという端正な構成です。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイで、1970年代以降に一般化するフラットダイヤルを早くも採用しています。夜光のない設計で、インデックスとペンシルハンドにはブラックプリントを施し、視認性を確保しています。Cal.712は自動巻クロノメーターとは思えない薄さを実現したムーブメントで、エレガンスと実用性を両立した名機です。

This Constellation features a slim profile of approximately 8 mm, combining a round case with bold, triple-faceted straight lugs and a flat, sunburst-finished bezel for a clean and architectural presence. The silver sunburst dial adopts the flat style that would later become widespread in the 1970s. Designed without luminous material, the dial pairs black-printed indexes with matching pencil hands, ensuring high legibility through contrast alone. The Cal.712 is a remarkably thin automatic chronometer movement—an accomplished mechanism that balances elegance with everyday practicality.

The case remains in excellent condition, showing only minimal marks from gentle use. The edges of the case sides and lugs retain sharp definition, emphasising the clarity of its original form. The hands are free from tarnish or scratches and maintain a crisp, clean appearance.
