1960年頃に製造されたシーマスター。Ref.14700は薄型ケースながら、オメガのロービートムーブメントCal.552を搭載し、当時の最先端を感じさせる完熟品です。ユニークなケース形状は、上面がフラットで長いラグが特徴的。これにより、より薄型の印象が強調されています。ダイヤルはブラックミラー仕上げで、オールギルトのレター、クサビインデックス、クロスライン、ノンデイトと、ポイントの高いディテールが際立っています。

A Seamaster produced around 1960, the Ref. 14700 features a thin case while housing Omega’s Cal. 552 low-beat movement, representing the pinnacle of its era. The unique case shape, with its flat top and long lugs, enhances the watch's thin appearance. The dial is finished in black mirror with all-gilt lettering, wedge-shaped indices, cross lines, and a no-date configuration, showcasing exceptional detail throughout.  

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal wear, maintaining sharp edges that enhance its refined appearance. This case is particularly sensitive to wear, so its outstanding condition is a key attribute. The bezel and lug edges are crisp, and the overall proportions are well-balanced. The dial retains a lustrous shine, with a bold contrast of the glossy black mirror and raised railway minute track, making for an attractive visual appeal. Under magnification, slight age-related spotting can be seen, but it's not noticeable to the naked eye. The luminous material has beautifully aged to a uniform beige.
