1960年代後半のスタイル、Cラインケースとのコンビネーションが特徴的です。“Seamaster 120”には36mmのフルサイズモデルも存在しますが、こちらは30mmのミッドサイズ。希少なレッドベゼルとダイヤルの組み合わせが目を引きます。クリックのない両方向回転ベゼルはスムーズに動作し、ダイバーモデルとしては珍しく、すっきりとしたフォルムと控えめなサイズ感が魅力です。シンメトリーなフェイスを持つノンデイト仕様は特に人気があり、希少な存在となっています。ブレスレットは日本で「キャタピラー」と呼ばれるフラットリンク仕様で、Ref.5684、エンドリンク537、クラスプデイト68/2が装備されています。

COMMENT

This model showcases the late 1960s design with its distinctive combination of a C-line case. While the Seamaster 120 also exists in a 36mm full-size version, this is the rarer 30mm mid-size model, featuring an eye-catching red bezel and dial combination. The bidirectional rotating bezel moves smoothly without clicks, and unlike typical diver’s watches, it has a clean, understated profile and a modest size. The non-date version, with its symmetrical face, is especially sought after and considered rare. The watch is fitted with a flat-link bracelet, often referred to as the “Caterpillar” bracelet in Japan, with Ref. 5684, end links 537, and clasp date 68/2.

The case remains in excellent condition, retaining its original edges and showcasing the elegant proportions unique to the C-line case design. The bezel has aged gracefully, exhibiting a faded gradient effect toward the outer edge, adding to its character.
