COMMENT

スクリューバック仕様の30mmキャリバー搭載モデル。くさび型インデックスと、3,6,9,12時位置にアラビア数字を組み合わせたデザインが特徴です。ダイヤルは中央がシャンパンゴールド、外周がブラックのツートン仕様で、コントラストのあるクラシカル。針の中央と各インデックスには夜光塗料が施されており、視認性、実用性ともにに長けています。搭載されているムーブメントは、オメガが誇るスモールセコンド仕様の30mmキャリバーで、その中でも円熟期に作られたCal.265です。耐震装置としてインカブロックを備えており、長年の使用にも耐えうる堅牢な設計が特徴です。

ケースは傷が少なく、滑らかな鏡面仕上げが整った美しいコンディションです。ダイヤルはエイジングの影響が少なく、針とインデックスには若干のくすみが見られるものの、全体としてバランスの取れた印象を保っています。夜光塗料は自然な経年変化により落ち着いたベージュへと移ろい、ヴィンテージらしい風格を感じさせます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

BRAND

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。

COMMENT

A screw-back model equipped with the renowned 30mm caliber. This timepiece features a distinctive design combining wedge-shaped indices with Arabic numerals at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. The dial boasts a striking two-tone layout, with a champagne gold center contrasting against a black outer ring, lending it a refined and classical aesthetic. Both the central portion of the hands and each index are coated with luminous material, enhancing readability and practicality. At its heart is the Omega Caliber 265, a small-seconds movement crafted during the peak years of the 30mm caliber's development. It incorporates the Incabloc shock protection system, ensuring durability for long-term use.

The case is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear and a beautifully maintained mirror-polished finish. The dial has aged gracefully, with only slight patina on the hands and indices, preserving a well-balanced and appealing appearance. The luminous material has developed a natural beige patina over time, enhancing its vintage charm. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop.  

This Omega 30mm caliber model embodies the distinctive details of the 1940s and 1950s, making it a delight both visually and mechanically. Its robustness and ease of maintenance add to its appeal. With nearly 80 years of history, this well-preserved timepiece has undergone proper servicing, ensuring it remains a reliable companion for years to come.
