オメガ シーマスター300 Ref.2913です。1957年に発表された2913-1を皮切りに、1961年の2913-8まで、計8つのバリエーションが存在します。本品は1958年製造の-6で、ブロードアロー分針とロリポップ秒針を採用しています。ダイビングにおいて分針の視認性が重要視されたため、ブロードアロー針の役割が時針から分針へと移行しました。黒文字盤において、オメガが時計史上最も早く開発したとされるマットダイヤルは、機能性を追求した証といえます。レターとラインは下地出しの技法で描かれ、インデックスにはラジウムが埋め込まれ、ダイヤル面より一段低い設計が採用されています。大ぶりなベゼルには12時位置にマーカーが付いており、視認性を高めています。竜頭はナイアードです。

ケースは使用傷が最小限に抑えられた良好なコンディションです。風防は新しく、美しいダイヤルをクリアに視認できます。ベゼルインサートはすべて剥離しており、ゴースト化しています。ダイヤルはエイジングの影響で部分的にツヤ感が現れ、角度によって異なる表情を楽しめます。針は経年の影響はあるものの、くすみや傷はごくわずかで、美しい状態を維持。インデックスは整ったコンディションを保ち、全体としてバランスの取れた印象です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。風防はオリジナルの新品を装着しており、外した古い純正品も付属します。ツバ付きの特殊な形状ですので、ポイントが上がります。

オメガダイバーズウォッチの源流といえるRef.2913は、回転ベゼルを備えた初の本格ダイバー。ベゼルインサートは元来の作りが、通常の仕様で剥離が生じやすいです。この部分につきましては、現存していないものや修復がなされたものが常であるとお考えください。しかしその未完成の規格で世に出されたことが、腕時計史であり、その後の長い歴史の中で確立されたオメガの技術とデザインの原点を存分に味わうことができるでしょう。

The Omega Seamaster 300 Ref. 2913 is a cornerstone of the brand’s dive watch history. Introduced in 1957 with the 2913-1, the model evolved through eight variations, culminating in the 2913-8 in 1961. This particular example, a 1958-manufactured -6 variant, features the distinctive broad arrow minute hand and lollipop seconds hand. The transition of the broad arrow design from the hour to the minute hand reflects the growing emphasis on minute readability in professional diving. Omega's early adoption of a matte black dial—one of the first in watchmaking—demonstrates a focus on functionality. The dial’s lettering and lines are rendered using a negative-relief technique, while the radium-filled indices sit slightly recessed into the surface. The oversized bezel, complete with a 12 o’clock marker, enhances legibility. This model is also equipped with a Naiad crown.  

The case remains in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The crystal is virtually free of scratches, ensuring an unobstructed view of the beautifully aged dial. The original Bakelite bezel insert has fully faded, resulting in a ghosted appearance. The dial exhibits subtle glossiness in certain areas due to natural aging, adding depth to its character. While the hands show slight aging, they retain their original form with minimal tarnish or scratches. The indices also remain well-preserved, contributing to an overall well-balanced aesthetic. The watch has been fully serviced in-house, and it comes fitted with an original NOS Omega crystal, with the removed vintage original also included.  

The Ref. 2913, which can be said to be the origin of Omega diver's watches, was the first full-fledged diver with a rotating bezel. The original bezel insert was designed to be prone to peeling under normal specifications. Please assume that this part is usually no longer in existence or has been restored. However, the fact that it was released to the world with this incomplete specification is the history of wristwatches, and you can fully enjoy the origins of Omega's technology and design that have been established over the long history that followed.
