COMMENT

縦方向のギョシェ仕上げが印象的な、ユリス・ナルダン。インデックスは楔形と飛びアラビア数字の組み合わせとなっており、1950年代らしいクラシカルなデザインが特徴です。パールドロップによるミニッツドットは内周に配置され、視認性とデザイン性を高めています。  ダイヤル全体に施された縦のギヨシェ模様には、細かく2本の線が刻まれており、12時位置のメーカーロゴには、珍しいアプライドのプレートにプリントを施した仕様となっているなど、かなりのこだわりが感じられるダイヤルです。ケースはスクリューバックの防水仕様。ムーブメントは当時最先端を行くフェルサ製です。

ケースは良好なコンディションを保ち、目立つ打痕や傷は見られません。ダイヤルは経年変化により温かみのある色合いへと移ろい、ヴィンテージらしい味わいを深めています。針とインデックスにはわずかにくすみが見られるものの、全体の印象を損なうことはなく、落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

最も老舗なブランドの一つですので、質実剛健な製品づくりは言うまでもありませんが、ユニークで愛らしいオールドナルダンの稀少な一本。ブランド名が浮き上がったプレートロゴは、ナルダンやオメガの製品で稀に見られる仕様です。凝ったデザインと落ち着いたトーンの色目が相まって、上質な雰囲気を漂わせています。

COMMENT

The vertical guilloché finish is a defining feature of this Ulysse Nardin timepiece. The combination of wedge-shaped and Arabic numeral indices exudes a classic 1950s aesthetic, while the pearl-drop minute markers positioned along the inner track enhance both legibility and design appeal. The vertically striped guilloché pattern is finely detailed, featuring twin engraved lines, and the 12 o’clock logo is uniquely executed—printed onto an applied plate, a rare and refined detail. The case is a screw-back waterproof design, housing a Felsa movement, one of the most advanced of its time.

The case remains in excellent condition, free from noticeable dents or scratches. The dial has developed a warm patina over time, enriching its vintage character. While the hands and indices show slight aging, they retain a balanced, refined look that complements the watch’s overall elegance. The movement has been fully serviced by our workshop.

As one of the longest-standing watch manufacturers, Ulysse Nardin’s commitment to robust craftsmanship is unquestionable. Yet, this piece also embodies the brand’s distinctive charm—particularly the applied plate logo, a rare feature occasionally seen in Nardin and Omega models.
