COMMENT

極限まで文字盤が大きくとられたCラインケースが特徴のカレラ。放射状にヘアライン加工を施したシャンパンシルバーダイヤルにスポーティなマットグレーのインダイアルとタキメーター。通称パンダダイアルです。小さいが面取りとブラックプリントによって存在感を発揮させるインデックス、無骨な印象のペンシルハンドと完成されたデザインです。純正尾錠が部属します。

ストップレバーを搭載した搭載ムーブメントCal.7734は、元々Venus社の188をValjoux社が継承して作っているものです。60年代後半から70年代の多くのメーカーで採用されていました。現行品で多くのメーカーが使用しているETA社の自動巻クロノグラフ7750の元になっていると言っても過言ではありません。

ケースは程よく使い込まれていますが、エッジが効いておりオリジナルのプロポーションが堪能できます。ダイヤルはとても良い状態を保っています。焼けが一切見られず、パリッとしたパンダです。針に多少のくすみが見られますが、気になるようなものでもありません。インデックスはとても綺麗です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ホイヤースポーツ黄金期の名品です。レーシングクロノグラフのデザインにおいては頭ひとつ抜けた意匠。読時性能を追求して設計されたこともあり、クラシカルな配色で構成されたダイヤルに、対称的な発色のいいオレンジクロノグラフ針を合わせる発想はいかにもホイヤーらしいです。機械は時計製造の円熟期に達しており、扱いやすいです。ホイヤーの歴史において、一番面白い頃の作品と言えるでしょう。

タグホイヤーの前身であるホイヤー社は、エドワード・ホイヤーによって1860年に設立された150年以上の歴史を持つスイス創業の老舗。 1985年からタグホイヤーとなり、世界のトップクラスの競技の場で公式時計として採用されるなど、誰もが知る名門ブランド。

COMMENT

The Carrera, characterized by the C-line case with an exceptionally large dial, features a distinctive design. The champagne silver dial with radial brushed finishing is complemented by the sporty matte gray sub-dial and tachymeter, commonly known as a panda dial. Despite their small size, the indices, featuring chamfers and black printing, exude a strong presence, complemented by the robust pencil hands for a well-rounded design. The watch comes with its original buckle.

The Caliber 7734 movement, equipped with a stop lever, is derived from Valjoux's continuation of Venus' 188. It was widely adopted by many manufacturers from the late 1960s to the 1970s. It can be considered the precursor to the automatic chronograph ETA 7750, widely used by many brands today.

The case exhibits a well-maintained patina, showcasing sharp edges and allowing you to appreciate the original proportions. The dial is in excellent condition, maintaining a crisp panda appearance with no signs of fading. While there is a slight patina on the hands, it is not prominent or distracting. The indices are very clean. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our experts.

This Carrera stands as a masterpiece from the golden era of Heuer Sports. It distinguishes itself with a racing chronograph design that is a cut above the rest. The thoughtful combination of a classical color scheme on the dial and the symmetrically vibrant orange chronograph hand truly embodies the essence of TAG Heuer. The mechanical aspect, reaching a mature phase in watchmaking, makes it user-friendly. This piece represents one of the most intriguing periods in TAG Heuer's history.
