1980年代に販売されたオーデマ・ピゲです。クォーツショックの最中、機械式時計は手巻きの2針ドレスウォッチが隆盛を極めた頃の品で、名門のあえて飾らないことによる説得力が感じられる一品です。ダイヤルはホワイト。イエローゴールドケースとのコンビネーションはヴィンテージらしい落ち着いた雰囲気です。通常よりも僅かに小さくデザインされたローマンインデックスはホワイトの盤面で強く主張します。針はブラックプリントのリーフでクラシカルさに拍車をかけています。ワンオーナーものでしょうか、AP純正の革ベルトと18金無垢バックルを装備しています。

ほとんど使用されていないのか、ケースは傷が少なくプロポーションに優れています。ケースのエッジが効き、ラグのしなやかな曲線は均一に揃っています。ケースバックは傷がほとんどなく、ホールマークが完璧に残っています。ダイヤルはパーフェクトです。経年変化が見られず、ダメージの現れやすいホワイトダイヤルはキリッっとしたカラーリングを残しています。インデックスのプリントに劣化は見られず、艶めきのある美しい質感を保持しています。弊社にて分解掃除を済ませております。

恐るべきはケースの厚みです。全体でおそよ5.4mm程度の超薄型ドレスウォッチで、ドレスシャツの袖元を邪魔しません。巻き上げの必要がないクォーツモデルのため、毎日の使用に役立ちそうです。

COMMENT

This Audemars Piguet timepiece, dating back to the 1980s, was introduced during the quartz crisis when manually wound two-hand dress watches were flourishing. It exudes a compelling charm through its deliberate simplicity. The dial is white, creating a serene atmosphere in combination with the yellow gold case. The slightly smaller Roman numerals are designed to stand out boldly against the white dial. The leaf hands with black printing add a classical touch. Perhaps a piece from a single owner, it comes equipped with an Audemars Piguet genuine leather strap and an 18k solid gold buckle.

The case appears to have seen minimal use, showing few scratches and excellent proportions. The edges of the case are well defined, and the supple curves of the lugs are uniformly aligned. The case back has minimal scratches, and the hallmark remains perfectly intact. The dial is flawless, exhibiting no signs of aging, and the white dial, which is prone to damage, retains a crisp and vibrant color. The printed indexes show no signs of deterioration, preserving a glossy and beautiful texture. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our experts.
