COMMENT

PRECIMAXのトリプルカレンダームーンフェイズモデルです。ダイヤルは電着塗装によるマットホワイト。12時下の2つの窓には、左に“曜日”、右に“月”が表示されます。アラビアとクサビのインデックスがバランス良く配置され、視認性にも優れています。ケースは18金無垢のスクリューバック仕様で、高いコストがかけられた造り。2時位置のプッシュで月の早送り、4時位置で日付、7時でムーンフェイズ、9時で曜日の早送りが可能です。秒針の先端にはレッドポインターを備え、外周のデイト表示のブループリントと、ブルースチール製のポインターデイト針が美しく調和しています。搭載ムーブメントはFelsa 690をベースに、トリプルカレンダー・ムーンフェイズコンプリケーションを搭載した精巧な設計です。

ケースは程よく使用感がありますが、リューズやプッシュ、ケースサイドのホールマークがしっかりと残り、良好な状態を維持。ケースバックの刻印も深く鮮明です。ダイヤルは全体に経年変化が見られるものの、プリントの欠けはなく、均一なエイジングを遂げています。針やインデックスもダイヤルの雰囲気に調和する自然な経年変化を示します。弊社にて分解掃除済みで、すべてのファンクションが正常に作動します。

1950年代当時、金無垢ケースを採用したトリプルカレンダームーンフェイズを展開するブランドは、雲上ブランドを除けば多くありません。ゴージャスなケースと複雑機構を備え、内外ともにコストをかけた一級品といえるモデルです。

PRECIMAX（プレシマックス）は、1933年2月28日にスイスのヌーシャテルで設立された時計メーカーです。 創業者は、1920年代にBüren Watch Companyのディレクターを務めていたサミュエル・トリプレットで、Hélios SAとの共同出資により「Manufacture d’Horlogerie Precimax SA」を設立しました。PRECIMAXは、1950年代から1960年代にかけて積極的に広告を展開し、当時の時計市場で存在感を示していました。 同社は、トリプルカレンダーやムーンフェイズ機能を備えたモデルを含む、多様な時計を製造していました。これらのモデルは、現在でもヴィンテージ市場で高い評価を受けています。

COMMENT  

A triple calendar moon phase model from PRECIMAX. The dial features a matte white electroplated finish, with two windows beneath the 12 o’clock position displaying the day (left) and month (right). The well-balanced arrangement of Arabic numerals enhances legibility. The case is crafted from solid 18k gold with a screw-back design, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship. Quick-set functions allow for easy adjustments: the pusher at 2 o’clock advances the month, 4 o’clock advances the date, 7 o’clock sets the moon phase, and 9 o’clock adjusts the day of the week. The red-tipped seconds hand, outer date track with blue print, and blued steel pointer date hand create a visually harmonious composition. The movement is based on the Felsa 690, incorporating a triple calendar and moon phase complication with precision engineering.  

The case exhibits moderate signs of wear, but the crown, pushers, and hallmarks on the case side remain well-defined, preserving its excellent condition. The case back engravings are deep and crisp. The dial shows even aging across the surface, with no missing print. The hands and indices have developed a natural patina, complementing the dial’s overall character. The watch has been fully serviced in-house, with all functions operating correctly.  

In the 1950s, few brands outside the high horology segment produced triple calendar moon phase watches in solid gold cases. This model stands out as a top-tier timepiece, offering both intricate complications and luxurious construction.

Founded on February 28, 1933, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, PRECIMAX was established by Samuel Tripet, a former director of the Büren Watch Company, in partnership with Hélios SA. Operating under the name Manufacture d’Horlogerie Precimax SA, the brand gained recognition in the 1950s and 1960s through active advertising and a strong market presence. PRECIMAX produced a variety of timepieces, including triple calendar and moon phase models, which continue to be highly regarded in the vintage watch market today.
