COMMENT

1960年代に発表されたオーデマ ピゲのドレスウォッチ。特徴的なシェイプケースに18Kイエローゴールドを採用し、スクリューバック仕様の当時の防水モデルです。ダイヤルは上品なブラウン系グレーで、独特の雰囲気を醸し出します。インデックスは3と6と9がゴールド、それ以外はブラックと珍しい配色。時分針はインデックスと同程度の幅に抑えられ、秒針はテール側が太めになっているのがAPならではのバランス感です。ミニッツマーカーを排したミニマルなデザインが、さらにエレガントな印象を強調しています。

ムーブメントはCal.2072を搭載。5姿勢調整が施された高精度機で、18Kローターを採用した贅沢な設計です。カレンダー機構は21時と0時の往復で日付送りが可能な仕様となっています。

ケースは使用感が少なく、エッジの立ったシャープなフォルムを維持。ラグの流れるようなラインも美しく、プロポーションの良さが際立ちます。ケースバックにはわずかに小傷が見られるものの、シリアルの刻印やホールマークは鮮明に残っています。ラグ内側には255の数字が刻印されており、裏蓋のシリアル末尾3桁と合っており、オリジナルの裏蓋がついていることが確認できます。ダイヤルは経年変化のないパーフェクトな状態。オーデマ ピゲらしい独自のグレージュカラーがそのままの色調を保ち、プリントの劣化もなく、インデックスは艶やかで高級感のある仕上がりです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

Ref.5205ではシルバーのサンバースト仕上げのダイヤルが一般的ですが、本機のようなグレージュダイヤルは、落ち着いた気品と洗練された色気を兼ね備えた特別な存在。インデックスの配色もユニークで、小さなロゴが控えめに配されるデザインは、一見してAPとわからない奥ゆかしさがあり、そこにこそ真のエレガンスが宿っています。

A dress watch from Audemars Piguet, released in the 1960s. It features a distinctive shaped case crafted from 18K yellow gold, designed as a waterproof model of its time with a screw-back case. The dial is an elegant brownish-gray, exuding a unique charm. The indices at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock are gold, while the others are black, creating a rare and striking contrast. The hour and minute hands are proportionally narrow, while the second hand features a thicker tail—an unmistakable balance unique to Audemars Piguet. The absence of minute markers enhances its minimalist and refined aesthetic.

The watch is powered by the Caliber 2072, a high-precision movement adjusted to five positions, featuring a luxurious 18K gold rotor. The calendar mechanism allows for quick date setting by moving the hands between 9 PM and midnight.

The case remains in excellent condition, with sharp edges and a well-preserved profile. The flowing lines of the lugs enhance its elegant proportions. While the case back shows minor scratches, the serial number and hallmarks remain crisp. The inner side of the lugs bears the number "255," matching the last three digits of the case back serial, confirming the originality of the case. The dial is in perfect condition, retaining its signature Audemars Piguet greige tone with no signs of aging. The print remains intact, and the indices exhibit a lustrous, high-end finish. The watch has been fully serviced by our company.

While the Ref. 5205 typically features a silver sunburst dial, this greige dial is a rare and distinctive variation, embodying understated sophistication and refined elegance.
