COMMENT

1950年代のエテルナ。ブラックミラーのダイヤルに、夜光塗料のアラビアインデックスとシリンジ針を組み合わせたデザインが特徴的です。ロゴと外周のミニッツは下地だしを採用しており、独特な雰囲気を醸し出しています。6時位置にはレコード状の溝が掘られたスモールセコンドが配置されており、視覚的に引き締まった印象を与えます。ケースは頑強なスクリューバックを採用しており、猫足のようなファンシーラグも印象的です。

ケースは多少使用傷はあるものの目立つものはなくグッドコンディションです。印象的なラグは傷が最小限で、魅力を最大限に引き立たせています。ダイヤルは傷がなく、エイジングによる影響も最小限です。インデックスは崩れがなく、整った状態を維持しています。また、針とインデックスに塗られた夜光塗料はベージュに変化しており、ヴィンテージ感を際立たせています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

This 1950s Eterna model features a striking design with its black mirror dial, paired with Arabic indices and syringe hands coated with luminous paint. The logo and the minute track around the edge are finished with a base-layer technique, adding a unique atmosphere to the watch. At the 6 o'clock position, the small seconds subdial is adorned with a record-like groove, giving the watch a visually sharp and refined look. The case is constructed with a robust screw-back design, and the fancy lugs, resembling cat feet, are particularly memorable.  

The case shows minimal signs of use, with no noticeable scratches, and is in good condition overall. The striking lugs have only slight wear, enhancing the watch’s charm. The dial is free from scratches, and the aging effects are minimal. The indices remain intact, maintaining a clean and well-preserved appearance. Additionally, the luminous paint on the hands and indices has aged to a beige tone, further accentuating the vintage appeal. The watch has been thoroughly serviced by our workshop.  

As a sports watch from the 1950s, Eterna stands out for its stable quality and refined design. The brand’s history as a manufacturer, which dates back to the 1940s, reflects a commitment to producing high-quality timepieces without cutting corners. This legacy continued all the way through to the quartz crisis. This timepiece is a remarkable example that evokes the rich history of Eterna.

This innovative design revolutionized the automatic winding system and solidified Eterna’s reputation as a high-end watchmaker.
