カルティエ、ブルガリと並び世界三大ジュエラーとして名を馳せるティファニー。その名を冠し、モバードが製造したのが1950年代のRef.3856です。18Kイエローゴールド製のレクタングルケースは、デコラティブなラグを備え、戦後の華やぎを象徴するような意匠を体現しています。シルバーダイヤルはツートン構成で、ブレゲフォントのアラビアインデックスにクラシカルな針を組み合わせ、一段落ちたスクエア型のスモールセコンドを配置。放射状のラインと二重サークルを組み合わせた凝ったデザインは、気品と奥行きを兼ね備えています。特徴的な針のフォルムとスモールセコンドの造形は1930年代アールデコの再解釈であり、1950年代前半に見られるクラシック回帰の潮流を鮮やかに示しています。ムーブメントはCal.9024（Movado 375）を搭載しています。ラグ幅が14.5mmと特殊なサイズです。

ケースはオリジナルの面をよく残した良好なプロポーションで、18Kイエローゴールドならではの質感を存分に楽しめます。ダイヤルは外周部にわずかなダメージが見られるものの、風防の縁と重なるため実際の印象は写真よりも控えめです。中央部はオリジナルの質感を美しく保ち、針とインデックスには目立った劣化がありません。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Alongside Cartier and Bulgari, Tiffany is celebrated as one of the world’s three great jewellers. This 1950s Ref.3856 was manufactured by Movado and bears the Tiffany signature. Its 18K yellow gold rectangular case features decorative lugs, reflecting the post-war exuberance of the era. The silver dial is executed in a two-tone layout with Breguet numerals, classical hands, and a recessed square small seconds. A combination of radiating lines and double circles lends depth and elegance, while the distinctive hand shapes and small seconds design reinterpret the Art Deco style of the 1930s, capturing the early-1950s revival of classical aesthetics. At its heart ticks the Cal.9024 (Movado 375).The lug width is a unique size of 14.5mm.

The case retains its original definition and proportions, allowing the rich texture of 18K gold to shine. The dial shows only minor wear at the periphery, largely hidden beneath the crystal edge, so the overall impression is cleaner than in photographs. The central area preserves its original surface beautifully, with hands and numerals free from notable deterioration. Fully disassembled, cleaned, and serviced in-house.

Compared to the generally distributed 14K yellow gold American cases, the specification of an 18K yellow gold Swiss-made case is extremely rare, and considering the tax system in the American market at the time, it can be inferred that this was manufactured for a special clientele.
