1948年創業のフランスのメーカー、イエマが手掛けたラリークロノグラフは、プロフェッショナルに向けたスポーツウォッチの代表格です。ブラックダイヤルにはレーシングクロノグラフらしい2本のレッドストライプとチェッカーフラッグモチーフがあしらわれ、視認性と個性を兼ね備えています。SSケースはブラックのタキメーターベゼルを装備し、防水仕様に加えて操作性の高い大径のリューズ、円形のプッシャー、スクリューバックを備えるなど、先進的な設計を誇ります。ムーブメントは45分の積算計、評価の高いバルジュー7730を搭載しています。

ケースには痩せが見られず、ラグからケースサイドにかけてのフォルムは美しく維持されています。ダメージの現れやすいベゼルは、剥がれが見られず濃いブラックのままを保っています。ダイヤルに目立つダメージは見られません。当時のオリジナルパーツであるベゼルやリューズを保持し、さらに純正の当時のベルトが付属している点は特筆すべきポイントです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

1969年のインディアナポリス500で優勝を果たしたマリオ・アンドレッティが着用していたことでも知られ、コレクターの間では「アンドレッティ・ラリー」として語り継がれています。モータースポーツ史の象徴的な瞬間と結びついたこのモデルは、クロノグラフ愛好家とレーシングファン双方にとって特別な存在であり、フランス製クロノグラフの代表作のひとつとして高い評価を受けています。

COMMENT

Established in 1948, Yema introduced the Rallye Chronograph as a hallmark of professional sports watches. Its black dial is defined by two vivid red racing stripes and a checkered-flag motif, delivering both clarity and character. The stainless steel case, equipped with a black tachymeter bezel, oversized crown, round pushers, and screw-down back, embodies forward-thinking engineering with water resistance and robust construction. Inside beats the acclaimed Valjoux 7730 movement, offering a 45-minute register and celebrated reliability.

The case shows no signs of thinning, with the profile from the lugs to the case side beautifully preserved. The bezel, often prone to wear, retains its deep black tone with no loss of finish. The dial remains free of noticeable damage, while original period parts such as the bezel and crown are still present. The watch is further distinguished by the inclusion of its original Yema strap, a rarity for a vintage example. Serviced by us through complete disassembly and cleaning.

This model gained legendary status when Mario Andretti wore it during his victory at the 1969 Indianapolis 500, earning it the nickname “Andretti Rallye” among collectors. Closely tied to one of the most iconic moments in motorsport history, it holds a special place for both chronograph enthusiasts and racing fans. Today, it is regarded as one of the signature French chronographs of its era.
