COMMENT  

チューダーの自動巻デイトモデル。1968年に盾ロゴへと切り替わる前の、小バラロゴを備えたヴィンテージならではの一本です。ダイヤルデザインはシンプルなブラック。針とインデックスはバータイプで、中央には夜光塗料が施されています。SELF-WINDINGのアーチ状表記は1970年代以前のモデルに見られるディテールで、さりげなくヴィンテージの魅力を引き立てています。ブレスレットはフォールデッドオイスターブレスレットRef.7835にエンドリンク357を装備。  

ケースは使用傷が最小で、良好なコンディションを維持しています。特に傷のつきやすいラグ周りはダメージが見られず、オリジナルのヘアライン仕上げが美しく保たれています。ダイヤルはエイジングによる色味の変化がなく、ロゴやインデックスのプリントは鮮明なホワイトを維持。針にはわずかなくすみが見受けられますが、依然として輝きを放ちます。また、針とインデックスの夜光塗料はエイジングによりベージュへと変化し、落ち着いたヴィンテージらしい雰囲気を醸し出しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

BRAND

1926年にROLEXのイギリス普及拡大のため誕生したディフュージョンブランド。ブランド名もイギリスの名門『チューダー家』にちなんだもので市民に親しみやすさをアピールしようとしていたことが窺い知れる。ヴィンテージチュードル人気のポイントはやはり、ケースやリューズなどROLEXのパーツが使われていること、チューダー家の薔薇の紋章をロゴに採用したことでロレックスと同じケースながら、ダイアルにはバラのロゴが配された“デカバラ”や“小バラ”と呼ばれるチュードル独自の人気モデルが誕生した。その後チュードルはロゴを盾をモチーフにしたものに変更し現在ではROLEXからは離れ、独自路線を進むことになる。

COMMENT  

A Tudor automatic date model featuring the delicate "Small Rose" logo, produced before the transition to the shield emblem in 1968. The dial is a straightforward black design, complemented by bar hands and indexes, both accented with luminous material. The arched "SELF-WINDING" inscription is a detail unique to pre-1970s models, subtly enhancing its vintage appeal. It comes fitted with a folded Oyster bracelet, Ref. 7835, paired with 357 end links.  

The case is in excellent condition, exhibiting minimal signs of wear. Notably, the lugs—often prone to damage—remain well-preserved, retaining their original brushed finish. The dial shows no discoloration from aging, and the logo and index print maintain a crisp white hue. While the hands display slight patina, they still retain their luster. Additionally, the luminous material on the hands and indexes has aged into a warm beige tone, contributing to the watch’s refined vintage character. The watch has been fully serviced by our company.

Founded in 1926 to expand Rolex’s presence in the UK, Tudor was conceived as a diffusion brand. Its name, inspired by the prestigious Tudor dynasty, was chosen to resonate with the British public. One of the key attractions of vintage Tudor watches lies in their use of Rolex components, such as cases and crowns, alongside their distinctive dial logos. The emblematic rose logo gave rise to beloved models known as “Big Rose” and “Small Rose,” which, despite sharing Rolex cases, retained a uniquely Tudor identity. Later, Tudor transitioned to a shield logo, marking its shift toward an independent path separate from Rolex.
