OMEGA Constellation Ref.168.005 Rose Gold Top

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Constellation with its 12-sided design on the "pie-pan" dial and the angled "beetle lug" is the epitome of classic elegance. However, this particular timepiece stands out with its rarity, featuring a pink gold top. While the stainless steel types exude a serious and solemn vibe, this watch transforms its surroundings with a more sophisticated and lively atmosphere. The included beige strap complements the overall look, and it could also pair well with vivid warm tones. The case is well-maintained, preserving the ambiance of that era. It houses the matured Cal. 564 movement, ensuring it's in excellent condition for your urban adventures.

Equipped with the high-precision Cal. 564 movement that passed the chronometer standards, this watch from the 550 series onwards represents a shift towards a more streamlined and efficient mechanism, reducing design constraints for a stylish face. Its appeal lies in its everyday usability, and with maintenance already taken care of, it's ready for any outing.

The Omega movements from this era are known for their efficient automatic winding, making manual winding rarely necessary. The original crown design of the Constellation, although challenging for manual winding, adheres to the original specifications without any issues.
