18金無垢のIWCです。ケースはカバードラグで、インターの持つ華奢なイメージとはまた違った、ドレスウォッチながらアンティークらしい重厚な高級感が堪りません。ダイアルはシルバーのサンレイ。文字盤がカーブした「ボンベダイアル」の中でも、特にカーブが急で、文字盤に独特の空間が広がります。斜傾部にはパールドロップのミニッツが整然と並び、より押し出し感が感じられます。根元がくびれたペンシルハンド、幅狭のバーインデックスはどちらもセンターにブラックを配し、読時性能を上げています。シーラカンスと呼ばれる古いタイプのお魚リューズを装備している点も見逃せないポイント。

ケースは小傷が多々見られるものの、研磨歴が見られず、エッジの立った良プロポーションな個体。ベゼルのエッジにある小さな面は全てが等間隔のままを保持しています。ダイアルはほのかにシャンパンカラーへと変化しており、金色ケースとのマッチングが素晴らしい。針やインデックスは大変ミントです。上面の鏡面仕上げにくすみやエイジングがなく、キラキラと光を反射させます。

キャリバーC8541Bはインターオリジナル＜ペラトン方式＞の自動巻を備えた時計。爪により両回転での自動巻を実現し、その性能の高さから、現代でも使用されている機構。当時IWCが自社で開発した最終キャリバーで、完成された美しさがあります。“B”はハック機能付きという意味を表しています。時刻合わせで針を往復させて日付を送る「往復送り」を備えており、使い勝手が良いです。メンテナンスに関しても当店でも自信を持ってお付き合いさせて頂ける時計です。

IWCのCal.85系自動巻きムーブメントは、独自機構のペラトン式を採用しています。巻き上げの際には、ビーズを転がすような音色を鳴らします。その音量は他社製品と比べて、明らかに大きいことが特徴となっています。

This is an 18K solid gold IWC timepiece. Featuring a cushion case with covered lugs, it exudes a substantial antique elegance, diverging from the slender image typically associated with Inter watches, yet retaining a dressy appeal. The silver sunray dial, with its pronounced curvature, creates a unique sense of space. Miniature pearl drops for the minutes markers line the inclined sections, enhancing its visual depth. The tapered pencil hands and slim bar indices, both accented with black at the center, improve legibility. Notably, it's equipped with the vintage-style "seal" crown, adding to its distinctive charm.

While the case shows several minor scratches, its original proportions remain intact, presenting a well-preserved specimen with sharp edges. The bezel's edges maintain consistent spacing, while the dial subtly transitions to a champagne hue, complementing the gold case beautifully. The hands, indices, and applied logo are in excellent condition. The top mirror finish exhibits no haze or aging, reflecting light brilliantly.

Powered by the caliber C8541B, it features the original Inter "Pellaton system" automatic movement, renowned for its bidirectional winding via claws. The "B" denotes its hack function, allowing for precise time setting. This watch also includes the "double-send" feature, making time adjustment more convenient.
