4半世紀近く製造された30mmキャリバー、搭載した型番は多く作られましたが、中でも堅牢なのがこちら。SSスクリューバックのケースは適度な厚みを持ち、1944年製とは思えない迫力です。文字盤外周に精緻に走らせたミニッツトラックと、どこかポップで愛らしいアラビア数字の配置は、計器としての視認性を高めるデザインです。当時スモールセコンドの多い中、ブルースチールの秒針は技術の高さを主張したのでしょう。光の環境変化でダイアルの濃淡が移ろう独特の焼け感が魅力の一つです。

ダイアルは水気などの汚れではない自然な変化によるもので、清潔感のある印象です。凹凸を感じるほどのレターは艶感がある黒色で印字されています。ルミナスの色味は少々黒が入り込んでいますが、違和感のない自然な程度です。ブルースチールの秒針は、深い青がきれいに光る良いコンディションです。ケースコンディションは過去の仕上げをあまり感じない優良品です。ベゼルの面がきれいに出ており、上部のフラット面が輝きます。
