ホイヤーの12DATO。ロレックスのキリーなどにも採用されたクロノグラフ×トリプルカレンダー機能を搭載した名機ヴァルジュー72C搭載モデルです。Ref.2547はカレラのモデル名がダイアルに入る前の「プレカレラ」として有名ですが、こちらの特別な点は最初期に見られるMark1タイプです。最初期モデルの特徴として、極太のラグとスクリューバックのケース、６時インダイアル上に「T」表記、リューズにホイヤーの刻印無し、デイト針にブルーの三日月ポインターと様々な意匠でその存在感を発揮しています。

ケースは手付かずと言っても良いほど状態が良いです。 極太のラグは当時のファセットを残しており、たくましさが感じられます。小傷は軽い擦れ傷のみで、保管環境も良好だったでしょう。ホワイトダイアルは入水の形跡がなく、目立った傷や汚れは見られません。インデックスや針は輝きを保っており、製造から60年が経過しているとはとても思えません。当店にて分解掃除済みで、42時間のパワーリザーブを確認しています。複雑な機械ですが、全てのファンクションが機能していることを確認しています。ビデオを掲載していますので、ご確認ください。

The Heuer 12DATO, equipped with the esteemed Valjoux 72C movement that was also adopted by Rolex's Killy, is a model featuring a combination of a chronograph and a triple calendar function. The Ref.2547, famously known as the "Pre-Carrera" before the Carrera model name appeared on the dial, stands out for its special characteristic - it is a Mark1 type from the earliest period. Distinctive features of the initial models include robust lugs, a screw-back case, "T" marking above the 6 o'clock sub-dial, no Heuer logo on the crown, and a blue crescent moon pointer on the date hand, showcasing its presence with various design elements.

The case is in such pristine condition that one could say it remains untouched. The thick lugs retain the facets of the time, exuding robustness. Minor scratches are limited to light abrasions, suggesting excellent storage conditions. The white dial shows no signs of water entry, and there are no prominent scratches or dirt. Indices and hands maintain their luster, and after 60 years since its manufacture, it looks remarkably well-preserved. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our store, confirming a 42-hour power reserve. Despite its complex mechanism, all functions have been verified to be in working order.
