セイコーのワンプッシュクロノは、1964年に開催された東京オリンピックを記念したモデルで、セイコー初の腕時計型クロノグラフです。回転ベゼルを分針の位置に合わせてスタートすることで、60分の計測が可能です。1つのプッシュボタンで計測のスタート、ストップ、リセットを繰り返すシンプルな操作性が特徴です。裏蓋には1964年開催の東京オリンピックの聖火マークが刻まれています。

ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げで、外周部からミニッツラインとインデックスが並びます。ワンプッシュクロノはダイヤルバリエーションが豊富ですが、夜光塗料がなく比較的ティピカルでドレッシーな印象です。インデックスは上面がフラットな鏡面仕上げで光を強く反射します。交換されている個体も多いですが。このベゼルにはブラックのセンタークロノ針が正しい組み合わせです。

ケースは元のエッジをよく残した良好なコンディションです。ベゼルのダメージは最小限で、プロポーションが良いです。適度な小傷が現れており、迫力があります。文字盤は気になるようなダメージが見られず、美しい質感を保っています。インデックスや針は上面にくすみが見られず、キラキラと輝きます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

日本が世界に誇る時計ブランド＜SEIKO(セイコー)＞。1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代でした。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもありました。

COMMENT

The Seiko one-push chronograph is a commemorative model for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and Seiko's first wristwatch chronograph. By aligning the rotating bezel with the minute hand position, it allows for 60-minute timing. The simple operation of the single push button allows for start, stop, and reset functions to be repeated easily. The case back is engraved with the Olympic torch mark from the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.

The dial is silver with a sunray finish, featuring minute lines and indices around the outer edge. While the one-push chronograph comes in various dial variations, this one, without luminous paint, presents a relatively typical and dressy impression. The indices have a flat mirror finish on top, reflecting light strongly. Although many of these watches have replaced parts, the black centre chronograph hand on this bezel is the correct combination.

The case is in excellent condition, retaining its original edges. The bezel shows minimal damage and has good proportions, with moderate small scratches adding character. The dial has no noticeable damage, maintaining its beautiful texture. The indices and hands show no signs of tarnish and shine brilliantly. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our store.
