洗練された印象を受ける樽型Cラインのケースは、ジェラルド・ジェンタがデザインを手がけ、1970年前後によく見られました。後期型のガラス型風防に比べ、前期型のドーム型風防で、ヴィンテージテイストが堪能できます。ケースは18金無垢で、細かく施されたフルーテッドベゼルはラグジュアリー感が強く、オメガのハイエンドモデルらしい佇まいです。ダイヤルは麻生地のようなテクスチャが爽やかさを感じさせるリネンダイヤル。OM SWISS MADE OM 表記は、ダイヤルが金無垢の母材となっていることを指しています。バーインデックスのセンター位置と、ペンシルハンドはブラックの塗装が施されており、読時性に優れています。

The tonneau-shaped C-line case, designed by Gerald Genta, exudes sophistication and was commonly seen around the 1970s. Compared to the later glass-type crystals, the earlier dome-shaped crystals offer a more vintage feel. The case, made of solid 18k gold, features a finely crafted fluted bezel, adding a luxurious touch befitting an Omega high-end model. The linen dial, with its refreshing texture reminiscent of hemp fabric, carries the OM SWISS MADE OM inscription, indicating that the dial is made of solid gold. The centre of the bar indices and the pencil hands are painted black, enhancing legibility.

This watch houses the highly accurate chronometer-certified Cal.564 movement. The calibres from the 550 series onwards transitioned to a smarter and more refined mechanism by eliminating unnecessary components. This allowed for a more stylish design. These calibres are relatively robust and accurate, making them ideal for those new to vintage watches.

The case has minor storage marks but retains good proportions. The mirror-polished bevels on the edges of the lugs are well-preserved. The dial is in mint condition, and the fine reflections from the linen dial, combined with the fluted bezel, create a luxurious and elegant appearance. The black print and mirror finish on the indices and hands show no signs of deterioration, remaining as they were originally.
