ノンデイト派に愛されるエアキング（Ref.5500）の上位機種、Ref.1002。両者の違いはムーブメントで、1002はクロノメーターCal.1570を搭載しています。Ref.1002はダイヤルバリエーションが豊富で、こちらは比較的珍しいブルーの横ヘアラインダイヤルを採用しています。バーインデックスは凸型で、センターに白い塗料が施されており、視認性を高めたデザインです。ミニッツはダイヤル外周から伸びる、エクスプローラーと同様のスタイルです。針は夜光塗料に見えるかもしれませんが、こちらもホワイトプリントが施され、夜光なしのモデルとなります。ドーム風防がアンティークらしい柔らかさを感じさせます。リベットのオイスターブレスレット（Ref.7205）、エンドリンク60、クラスプデイト69/3を装備しています。

ケースはプロポーションが良好でバランスに優れています。使用に伴う小傷が少々確認できますが、大きな打痕はありません。美しいブルーダイヤルは当時のままの状態を保ち、ヤレがなく横ヘアラインによる光の反射が堪能できます。インデックスや針、アプライドの王冠ロゴにメッキの剥がれがなく、瑞々しい輝きを放っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

The Air-King's more refined counterpart, the no-date Ref.1002, is highly sought after among collectors. While similar in appearance to the Air-King (Ref.5500), the Ref.1002 houses the chronometer-certified Cal.1570, elevating it with enhanced timekeeping precision. This particular piece features a rare blue dial with horizontal hairline brushing, a unique variant among the diverse dial options available for the Ref.1002. The raised bar indices are accentuated with a white center stripe for added legibility, and the minute markers extend from the dial's periphery in a layout reminiscent of the Explorer series. Although the hands resemble luminous ones, they are actually white-printed with no luminescent material. The domed crystal lends a classic, soft profile to the watch. This piece is fitted with a riveted Oyster bracelet (Ref.7205), end link 60, and clasp date 69/3.

The case is well-balanced, with only minor scratches from wear, and no significant dings. The blue dial is in beautiful, preserved condition, with horizontal brushing that catches the light elegantly. Both the indices and hands, along with the applied crown logo, retain a fresh, radiant finish with no signs of plating wear. The watch has been serviced by us.
