ジャガールクルトがエルメスに依頼され製作したエトリエ。エトリエ（馬具の鐙）から着想を得た、長方形のケースと突き出たパイピングラグがアイコニックなケースデザインです。通称ドライバーズウォッチとも言われ、こちらは希少なラージサイズです。ドライバーズウォッチとは、ハンドルを握りながらも容易に時間を確認できる腕時計のことで、右に傾いたダイヤルを採用したものやラグが可動式になっているものなどが見られます。こちらは手首の内側のくるぶし付近に着用するタイプで、リューズが6時側にあるのも運転を前提とした配慮です。ダイヤルバリエーションの多い時計ですが、ヘアラインの入ったグレーのダイヤルにオーバルのインデックスラインが一段上がった非常に手の込んだ造りとなっております。ジャガールクルト純正のバックルが付属します。

非防水のドレスウォッチですが、過去に入水の経歴がみられず清潔なコンディションを保っています。小傷は少なく、大切に使用されてきたことがわかります。ダイヤルは経年劣化による焼けも見られずパーフェクトです。インデックスやレターのプリントにダメージはありません。針にくすみはなく、きらりと光を反射します。

搭載している『Cal.818/2』は、世界三大メーカーであるヴァシュロンコンスタンタンやオーデマピゲといった名門時計メーカーに供給した実績を持つ高級ムーブメント『Cal.818』のバージョンアップモデルで、信頼性の高いムーブメントです。マニファクチュールブランドの凛とした意匠を心置きなくご堪能ください。

This Jaeger-LeCoultre Étrier was commissioned by Hermès and is inspired by the stirrup (étrier) used in horse riding. The iconic rectangular case and protruding piping lugs create a distinctive design. Often referred to as a driver’s watch, this model is a rare large size. Driver's watches are designed to be easily read while holding the steering wheel, featuring tilted dials or adjustable lugs. This particular model is worn on the inside of the wrist and has a crown positioned at 6 o'clock, thoughtfully designed for driving convenience. The dial features a meticulously crafted design with a grey hairline finish and raised oval indices. It comes with a genuine Jaeger-LeCoultre buckle.

Though a dress watch with no water resistance, it has never been exposed to water and is in pristine condition. It shows few minor scratches and has clearly been well cared for. The dial remains perfect without aging or discoloration. There is no damage to the indices or lettering, and the hands reflect light beautifully without tarnish.

The watch is powered by the 'Cal.818/2,' an upgraded version of the prestigious 'Cal.818' movement, which has been supplied to top-tier watchmakers like Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet. It is a highly reliable movement that allows you to enjoy the refined design of a manufacture brand without reservation.
