COMMENT

コブラとして知られるこの時計は、オーデマピゲのアイコニックなモデルであるロイヤルオークの発表直後から製造されるシリーズです。デザイナーはロイヤルオークと同じく、ジェラルド・ジェンタ。一体型の太い編み込みのブレスレットと、張り出たケースが特徴的です。ケースメーカーはC.R. スピルマンで、ブレスレットには「GRG」の刻印が見られます。27mmのこちらは、ミニマムなサイズで製造数が少なく希少です。ダイヤルは天然石のブルーアベンチュリンで、キラキラとした輝き（アベンチュレッセンス）を放ちます。搭載ムーブメントは自社製Cal.2062で、自動巻であることが快適さとスタイルをシームレスに組み合わせています。

コンディションは非の打ちどころがありません。ケースに傷は少なく、ホールマークは擦れがなくしっかりと視認できます。ケースのサンドブラスト、鏡面仕上げのケースバックは当時のままを保っています。ダイヤルは大変ミントな質感です。入水などによるダイアルの劣化は一切見られず、石のダイヤルによく見られるクラックが確認できません。ブレスレットは使用感が少なく、良好な状態です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

コブラは、イラン パフレヴィー朝の最後の皇帝であるパフレヴィー2世が愛用したことでも知られています。ロイヤルオークと同様のデザイン理念を踏襲しており、ラグシュアリーでありながらしなやかな装着感が魅力です。1980年代には同社でもコブラを模倣した作品が多く製造されましたが、自動巻、スクリューバック、そしてサーペンタインスタイルのこの意匠は唯一無二の魅力となっています。

Known as the "Cobra," this watch series from Audemars Piguet was produced shortly after the iconic Royal Oak's release. Designed by the same visionary, Gérald Genta, it features a thick, woven integrated bracelet and a prominent case. The case was crafted by C.R. Spillman, with the bracelet marked "GRG." Measuring 27mm, this model is minimal in size and highly rare due to its limited production. The dial is made of natural blue aventurine, which sparkles with a characteristic glitter (aventurescence). It houses the in-house automatic movement Cal. 2062, seamlessly blending comfort and style.

The condition is impeccable. The case has minimal scratches, with the hallmark clearly visible. The sandblasted and mirror-finished case back remains as it was originally. The dial is in mint condition with no signs of water damage or the common cracks seen in stone dials. The bracelet shows little wear and is in excellent condition. It has been serviced by our company.

The Cobra is famously worn by the last emperor of Iran, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. It follows the same design philosophy as the Royal Oak, offering a luxurious yet supple wearing experience. In the 1980s, many other brands attempted to imitate the Cobra, but its automatic movement, screw-down back, and serpentine design remain uniquely appealing.
