1938年製造、第二次世界大戦の直前に作られた、ケース径約44mmの鮮烈な印象を与えるロンジンです。当時の基準からは信じられないほど大きく、ケース全体にステイブライトを採用したハイコストなモデルとなっています。溶接された固定ラグ、スモールセコンド、ブラックダイヤルに大きく読みやすいアラビアインデックスが配置されており、第二次大戦時の軍用時計の典型とされるデザイン要素が既に表れています。こちらは夜光のないモデルで、ゴールドギルトのリーフハンドがクラシックな魅力を引き立てています。

使用感は最低限に抑えられ、これ以上のコンディションのものは発掘されないでしょう。ミントな竜頭や、完璧なエッジを持つケースには感嘆せざるを得ません。ケースバックには保管による小傷こそ見られますが、リアルなヴィンテージ感が好印象です。ブラックミラーダイヤルは完璧で、艶やかな美しさを保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

このRef.4375は、2019年に復刻された「ヘリテージミリタリー1938」の元となったRef.4092と同様のケースデザインとスペックを誇ります。リンドバーグ アワーアングルの発表時期と、ダーティダース グリーンランダーの登場時期の間に誕生したこの時計は、戦間期においてもロンジンが兵士のために役立つツールを提供し続けたことを物語っています。こちらは夜光無しと、さらに興味深いです。軍用および航行用時計に特化していた前世紀のロンジン黄金期を象徴するタイムピースです。

This Longines watch, manufactured in 1938 just before the outbreak of World War II, makes a striking impression with its large 44mm case diameter—an extraordinary size for its time. It features a high-cost Staybrite case with welded fixed lugs, a small seconds subdial, and a black dial with large, easy-to-read Arabic numerals, reflecting design elements typical of military watches from the WWII era. Notably, this model lacks luminous material, and the gold-gilt leaf hands enhance its classic charm.

The watch shows minimal signs of wear, and it would be nearly impossible to find another example in such outstanding condition. The pristine crown and the case, with its sharp edges, are particularly noteworthy. While the case back bears minor storage marks, these add to its authentic vintage appeal. The black mirror dial remains flawless, retaining its glossy, elegant finish. The watch has been fully serviced by our company.

This Ref. 4375 shares the same case design and specifications as Ref. 4092, which served as the inspiration for the 2019 reissue of the "Heritage Military 1938." Produced between the release of the Lindbergh Hour Angle and the Dirty Dozen Greenlander, this watch represents Longines' continued dedication to creating functional tools for soldiers, even during the interwar period. The absence of luminous material further adds to its intrigue. This piece is a quintessential example of Longines' golden age of military and navigation watches from the early 20th century.
