COMMENT

ケースはサンレイ仕上げを施したシリンダーケースで、筒を輪切りにしたような造形にストレートラグを組み合わせたオールドスタイルです。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げで、ペンシルハンドと厚みを抑えたバーインデックスを備え、すべてが直線的に構成されたシンプルな意匠。ブレスレットはビーズオブライスRef.1057にエンドリンク22を組み合わせています。

ケースは全体的に傷が少なく、ラグやリューズといった傷が入りやすい部分に損傷が見られない素晴らしいコンディションです。ダイヤルはエイジングの兆候がほとんどなく、ミントコンディションを保っています。針はわずかにくすみが見られるものの、全体として整った状態。針とインデックスに塗布された夜光は経年変化により落ち着いた風合いを呈し、ヴィンテージらしい趣を添えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

1960年代後半のシーマスターにおいてノンデイトモデルは意外と少なく、こちらはさらにクロノメーター規格をパスした希少な一本です。コンステレーションと同等の精度を誇りながら、シーマスターラインに属するという点は驚きで、Ref.167.070以外にもこうしたモデルが存在していた事実はコレクターにとって発見といえるでしょう。製造数の極めて少ない珍しい個体ですので、ぜひご検討ください。

COMMENT

The case features a sunray-finished cylinder construction, combining a tubular cross-section with straight lugs for a classic old-style profile. The silver sunray dial is paired with pencil hands and slim bar indexes, creating a clean, linear composition. Completing the look, the watch is fitted with a beads-of-rice bracelet, Ref.1057, with end links 22.

The case shows minimal wear overall, with no damage to vulnerable areas such as the lugs or crown, making it a superbly preserved example. The dial remains virtually untouched by aging, retaining a mint condition surface. The hands show only the slightest patina yet remain well-aligned, while the lume on both hands and indexes has aged into a mellow tone, adding vintage character. Serviced and cleaned by us.

Within the late 1960s Seamaster line, no-date models are relatively uncommon. This particular example stands out further by meeting chronometer standards, a rarity typically reserved for the Constellation line. The fact that such chronometer-certified Seamaster references existed, including Ref.167.070 and similar variants, is a notable discovery for collectors. With its very limited production numbers, this piece represents a particularly rare find.
