1950年代製のヴァシュロン・コンスタンタン、Ref.4870です。自動巻きCal.P1019/1を搭載し、18Kイエローゴールドのケースは直径36mm。同年代のモデルと比べても幅広く重厚なベゼルと、ケースからラグへ流れるようにつながるラインが印象的です。マットホワイトダイヤルには立体的なバーインデックスとドーフィンハンドを配し、中央秒針を備えた端正な表情にまとめています。

ケースには保管に伴う細かな擦れが見られますが、目立つ打痕はなく、全体のプロポーションを良好に保っています。幅広のベゼルからラグへ続く流麗なラインも美しく、18Kゴールドならではの質感が際立ちます。この世代では各社が少数製造したマットホワイトダイヤルも、長い年月の経過によってシミや焼けが現れた個体が多く見られます。本個体はそうした変化がほとんどなく、当時の色味をきれいに残した良好な状態です。針にも目立つ劣化はなく、インデックスとともに整った表情を保っています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This Vacheron Constantin Ref. 4870 dates to the 1950s and is powered by the automatic Cal. P1019/1. Its 18K yellow gold case measures 36mm, a generous size for the period. A broad, substantial bezel and the flowing transition from the case into the lugs give the watch a distinctive profile. The matte white dial is fitted with applied baton indexes, dauphine hands, and central seconds, resulting in a clean and balanced appearance.

The case shows minor handling marks from storage, with no noticeable dents, and retains excellent overall proportions. The graceful lines extending from the broad bezel into the lugs remain well defined, while the 18K gold preserves its rich texture. Matte white dials were produced in limited numbers by several manufacturers during this period, and many surviving examples now display spotting or discoloration. This dial shows almost none of these changes and retains its original tone remarkably well. The hands also remain free from noticeable deterioration and present cleanly alongside the indexes.
