ROLEX OYSTERDATE Ref.6694 Black Mirror Dial

COMMENT

このRef.6694には、安定感のあるCal.1225を搭載。

The Rolex Ref. 6694 is the final iteration of the manual-wind Date model produced by Rolex, spanning from the 1960s through the 1970s. Despite sharing the same reference number, each year's production has its own unique character, making them a joy to collect and wear. This particular piece, manufactured in 1971, features a striking black mirror dial paired with gold printed lettering, bar indices, and pencil hands. The flat crown logo adds a sporty touch to its overall design. It is equipped with the Oyster bracelet Ref. 7835 and end links 257, completing its classic look.At the heart of this Ref. 6694 is the Cal. 1225 movement, a robust and reliable mechanism from the same era as the 1570, showcasing Rolex’s renowned craftsmanship with its beautifully finished silver movement.

The case is substantial, with thick lugs that give the watch a bold presence. The dial retains its mirror-like sheen, in near-perfect condition. Under high magnification, you can still observe the fine vertical hairline texture from its original finish. The indices and logo gleam with a dignified radiance, contributing to its commanding appearance. The watch has been fully serviced by our team, ensuring it runs as smoothly as it did when first produced.

The Oysterdate is a classic and simple vintage Rolex, featuring a hand-wound movement and a reliable date function. Its slim Oyster case offers a comfortable wearing experience, typical of hand-wound watches. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a vintage Rolex in exceptional condition, perfect for both daily wear and as a collectible piece.
