ダイヤルはチタンをベースにブルーのモザイクプリントを施し、ソーダライトを思わせる美しい質感を備えています。細かな色調の濃淡が織りなすテクスチャは、光の角度によって柔らかく表情を変え、まるで水面に映る光の揺らめきを閉じ込めたかのようです。バーインデックスにペンシルハンドを組み合わせ、センターにはホワイトプリントを配すことで高い視認性を確保。ホワイトゴールド製のケースは真円に近いプロポーションにバーラグを備え、マットな質感が手首にしっとりと馴染む上品な仕上がりです。搭載ムーブメントはジャガー・ルクルト製Cal.1001/2で、五姿勢および温度補正を施した精密な高級機。ヴァシュロン・コンスタンタンのドレスウォッチの中でも頂点に位置するキャリバーのひとつです。

ケースは小傷こそあるものの、オリジナルのヘアライン仕上げを保っています。ラグのしなやかな曲線は均整が取れており、金属の質感を引き立てています。希少なモザイクダイヤルは色味や質感の変化が一切なく、当時の美しさをそのままに残しています。針やインデックスは劣化が見られず、艶やかで立体感のある光沢を放ちます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

18世紀中頃創業のヴァシュロン・コンスタンタン。日本では誤訳により長い間バセロン・コンスタンチンの呼称で愛されていました。キャビノチェの精神に受け継ぐ世界最古の高級時計ブランドです。キャビノチェは、照明装置の乏しかった当時、技術の高い職人は明かりを求めて屋根裏部屋（キャビネット）に工房を設けており、人々は彼らに敬意を表してキャビノチェと呼んでいたことが語源です。マルタ十字のクロスをブランドロゴに掲げ、高く洗練された優れた技術力によって生み出された名品はコレクターも多く、世界中から高い評価を得ています

COMMENT

The dial is based on titanium and finished with a blue mosaic print, creating a beautiful texture reminiscent of sodalite. Subtle variations in tone give the surface a distinctive depth, changing gently with the angle of the light like reflections shimmering across water. Baton indexes are paired with pencil hands, while white accents through the center provide clear legibility. The white-gold case has an almost perfectly round profile with straight bar lugs, and its matte finish gives the watch a refined, understated presence on the wrist. It is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal. 1001/2, a high-grade precision movement adjusted to five positions and temperature. It is among the finest calibers found in Vacheron Constantin dress watches of the period.

The case shows some minor scratches but retains its original brushed finish. The graceful curves of the lugs remain well balanced and complement the texture of the metal. The rare mosaic dial is exceptionally well preserved, retaining its original color and texture without noticeable deterioration. The hands and indexes also show no significant aging and retain a rich, dimensional sheen. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

With its lyrical blue dial recalling Monet’s Water Lilies, this watch represents a remarkable meeting of decorative artistry and fine watchmaking. Production appears to have been extremely limited, and very few examples with a comparable dial are known.
