COMMENT

1960年代に製造されたエニカのトラベルウォッチ、シェルパ・ジェット33 Ref.126/002です。ステンレススチール製のスーパーコンプレッサーケースを採用し、2時位置と4時位置にクロスハッチ入りのツインリューズを装備。一方のリューズで外周の24時間リングを回転させることで、異なる時間帯を読み取ることができます。ブラックダイヤルには立体的なバーインデックス、デイト表示、鮮やかなレッドのセンターセコンドを配しています。

ダイヤルには綺麗な半艶の状態を保ち、針とインデックスの夜光塗料も自然な色合いへ変化しています。ケースには使用に伴う傷がありますが、力強く張り出したラグのファセットやケースサイドの輪郭は良好に保たれています。2本のリューズにはエニカの土星ロゴが残り、裏蓋のシェルパ意匠とRef.126/002を含む刻印も明瞭です。ステンレススチール製ブレスレットを装着しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

ムーブメントは、エニカ自社製の自動巻きCal.AR1126を搭載。文字盤とローターに記されたとおり33石仕様で、ゴールドカラーに統一された機械の仕上げも特徴です。日付表示と回転式24時間リングを備えながら、直径約36mmの扱いやすいサイズにまとめられています。スーパーコンプレッサー特有のツインリューズと、実用的なトラベル機能を併せ持つ、初期シェルパシリーズらしい一本です。

エニカ社は1854年スイスで創業し、時計業界に歴史を刻んで160年以上。1910年代ヨーロッパの殆んどの国で鉄道時計として採用されたメーカー。クォーツ時計を最も早く製品化した事でも有名。

COMMENT

Produced in the 1960s, the Enicar Sherpa Jet 33 Ref. 126/002 is a travel watch housed in a stainless steel Super Compressor case. It features twin cross-hatched crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock, one of which rotates the outer 24-hour ring to display a second time zone. The black dial is fitted with applied baton indexes, a date display, and a vivid red central seconds hand.

The dial retains an attractive semi-gloss finish, while the luminous material on the hands and indexes has aged to a natural tone. The case shows scratches from use, though the facets of the prominent lugs and the contours of the case sides remain well preserved. Both crowns retain Enicar’s Saturn emblem, while the Sherpa motif and engravings on the case back, including Ref. 126/002, remain clearly defined. The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Inside is Enicar’s in-house automatic Cal. AR1126. As indicated on both the dial and rotor, this is a 33-jewel movement, distinguished by its uniform gold-tone finish. Despite incorporating a date display and rotating 24-hour ring, the watch remains comfortably proportioned at approximately 36mm in diameter. With its characteristic Super Compressor twin crowns and practical travel-time function, it is a representative example of the early Sherpa series.

Enicar was founded in Switzerland in 1854 and has a history spanning more than 160 years. By the 1910s, its watches had been adopted for railway use across much of Europe. The company is also known as an early producer of commercially available quartz watches.
