1970年代に製造されたセイコーのダイバーズモデル「150mダイバー」。製造数の少ないボーイズサイズで、コレクターやウォッチ愛好者にとって特に価値のあるアイテムです。ブラックダイヤルは、しっとりとした艶感があります。

ケースはエッジがしっかりと残り、痩せていないため、非常に良い状態と言えます。回転ベゼルの動きも滑らかで、正確に時間を計ることができます。ダイヤルも状態が非常に良く、エイジングの跡は一切見られません。針やインデックスにもくすみはなく、夜光もきれいに残っています。

小柄な見た目ながら、重厚感のある素晴らしい逸品です。カレンダーや回転ベゼルが搭載されているため、今でも実用的で、一線で活躍できる輝きを放っています。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

The Seiko "150m Diver," manufactured in 1970's, is a diver's model with a boy's size that is especially valuable to collectors and watch enthusiasts due to its limited production. The black dial has a rich, subtle luster that adds to its charm.
