クールなブラックダイアルの手巻タンク。ローマインデックスはシルバーカラーで高級感が漂います。針はカルティエによくあるバトン針ですが、ダイアルに倣いシルバーカラーで、雰囲気に溶け込みます。タンクは近年貴重になっており、LMサイズ、さらにブラックダイアルでローマインデックスとなれば、尚の事お探しの方も多いのではないでしょうか。ベルトはクロコダイルのオリジナル。バックルはカルティエ純正のものが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。機械にはETA2512-1を搭載。この世代のカルティエに多く用いられた機械で、パーツの入手がしやすいメンテンナス性の高い機械です。

本個体はダイヤルにクラックが確認でき、クラシカルなヴィンテージ感を引き立てています。ケースは傷が最小限に留まり、プロポーションの印象を損なうものではありません。リューズは当時のカボションが残っており、欠けや損傷のない良好な状態です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

A hand-wound Tank distinguished by its cool black dial. The silver Roman numerals lend a refined presence, while the baton hands—rendered in matching silver—blend seamlessly into the monochrome composition. In recent years, the Tank has become increasingly scarce; an LM size example with a black dial and Roman indexes is particularly sought after. The watch is fitted with its original crocodile strap and a genuine Cartier buckle, preserving its authenticity. It is powered by the ETA2512-1, a movement widely used in Cartier models of this era, known for its serviceability and practical reliability.

This example shows visible cracking on the dial, enhancing its classical vintage character. The case retains its proportions, with only minimal surface wear that does not detract from its silhouette. The original cabochon crown remains intact, free from chips or damage. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The Must series features vermeil construction, in which a thick layer of gold is applied over a silver base, lending a substantial sense of luxury in material as well as design. BRAND

Cartier began producing wristwatches as early as 1904, at a time when pocket watches were still predominant.
