Ref.6424は、36mmのジャンボケースを採用した手巻きノンデイトモデルです。薄型のオイスターケースに広いダイヤルを組み合わせ、当時の一般的なサイズを上回るケース径を備えています。グレーダイヤルには放射状の光沢があり、左右対称に配された立体的な楔形インデックスが、端正で力強い表情を作り出しています。時分針はアルファハンドです。リベットブレスレットはRef.7206、エンドリンクは75。クラスプには「2 68」の刻印があります。

ケースとブレスレットには経年に伴う小傷や擦れが見られますが、ケースの輪郭とベゼルの鏡面仕上げを保っています。グレーダイヤルには細かな経年変化があり、放射状の仕上げが残る表情とともに、ヴィンテージらしい落ち着いた雰囲気を感じさせます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Ref. 6424 is a manually wound, no-date model housed in a 36mm “Jumbo” case. Its slim Oyster case is paired with a broad dial, giving it a diameter larger than most watches of the period. The grey dial has a subtle radial sheen, while symmetrically arranged applied wedge-shaped indexes create a clean yet substantial appearance. Alpha hands complete the dial. The riveted Oyster bracelet is Ref. 7206 with 75 end links, and the clasp is stamped “2 68.”

The case and bracelet show minor scratches and wear consistent with age, while the case profile and polished bezel remain well preserved. Fine signs of aging are visible across the grey dial, though its radial finish remains apparent and gives the watch a calm vintage character. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Ref. 6424 combines the practical construction of a manually wound Oyster with a 36mm case that was notably large for its time. The uncluttered no-date dial, wedge-shaped indexes, and alpha hands are well balanced, giving the watch the restrained yet substantial character associated with early-1960s Rolex. It is completed by the uncommon 20mm riveted Oyster bracelet.
