AUDEMARS PIGUET TV Case Automatic Date Cal.2121/1

COMMENT

COMMENT

This is an automatic Audemars Piguet model with a TV-shaped case. The case is made of 18K white gold and features a horizontally oriented 34.5mm × 32.5mm form, combined with a slim profile measuring just 6.3mm thick. The softly rounded cushion-style case is paired with a silver dial finished with delicate vertical brushing, giving the watch a refined appearance characteristic of the 1970s. Baton indexes, slender hands, and a date display at 3 o’clock complete the dial, while the cursive “Automatic” signature adds a classical touch. The watch is powered by the slim automatic Cal.2121/1.

The case shows minor scratches from use, but remains in good condition for an 18K white gold case. The rounded case lines retain a natural sense of depth, and the shaping around the lugs remains clearly visible. The dial preserves its beautiful vertical finish, with no noticeable scratches or major deterioration. The hands and indexes retain a calm metallic sheen, and the area around the date window remains clean and well balanced. The caseback shows small scratches, but the engravings are still visible. The watch is fitted with a crocodile leather strap and an original Audemars Piguet 18K white gold buckle. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

This is an elegant Audemars Piguet dress watch, combining a slim automatic movement with an 18K white gold TV-shaped case. The horizontal case silhouette is understated yet distinctive, while the simple dial layout allows the quality of the materials and case design to stand out. With its classical atmosphere and distinctly 1970s design sensibility, it is a refined piece that can be enjoyed naturally in daily wear.
