Ref.1016マットダイヤルマーク4(日本内では3型と説明されることがあります）。4.0milから6.6mil番代まで、そして1989年の最後の L番に登場するダイヤルです。主に1976年から1981年までに作られたマーク4は、縦長の王冠ロゴが特徴的です。「ROLEX」の文字はMK3までと比べ、大きくなっています。ROLEXが大きくなった分、「OYSTER PERPETUAL」は細字になり、MK2までのようなバランスに戻りました。ブレスレットは20mm無垢のRef.78360、クラスプコードVE、エンドリンクは580番が付いています。

搭載ムーブメントはCal.1570はクロノメーター仕様。1960年代半ばから1980年代後半までの長期間に渡って製造され、ロレックス社製ムーブメントの中でも、精度と耐久性のバランスが取れた傑作ムーブメントとして、高い評価を獲得しています。1016ではMK3以降よりハック機能が完全に搭載されます。

ケースは若干の使用感は見られるものの、プロポーションが良くどっしりとしています。ダイヤルはパーフェクトです。目立った傷やヤレは見当たりません。トリチウムのインデックスはアンタッチで抜群のコンディション、黒ヤケが一切見られません。針ルムとインデックスの色味がマッチしているのがポイントです。針はメッキにエイジングが確認できますが、着用の際には気にならない程度かと思われます。ブレスは伸びが少なく理想的な状態、快適なつけ心地です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。パワーリザーブは48時間以上を確認しています。文句の付け所のない良個体です。是非ビデオにてご確認ください。

The Ref.1016 Matte Dial Mark 4 is a distinctive dial introduced from 4.0 million to 6.6 million serials and continued until the last L-serial in 1989. The Mark 4, mainly produced from 1976 to 1981, is characterized by the elongated coronet logo. The "ROLEX" text has increased in size compared to MK3, and with the enlargement of ROLEX, "OYSTER PERPETUAL" has returned to a finer font, reminiscent of the balance seen in MK2. It features a 20mm solid Ref.78360 bracelet with a VE clasp code and 580 end links.

Equipped with the Cal.1570, a certified chronometer movement, it was manufactured from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s, earning high praise as a masterpiece movement from Rolex, balancing precision and durability. Starting from MK3, the 1016 features a fully integrated hacking function.

The case, while showing slight signs of use, maintains well-proportioned and robust aesthetics. The dial is pristine, devoid of noticeable scratches or aging. The tritium indices are untouched, exhibiting outstanding condition with no visible blackening. The color harmony between the luminous material on the hands and indices is a notable point. While the hands show some aging on the plating, it is negligible during wear. The bracelet is in an ideal condition with minimal stretch, offering a comfortable fit. Our team has performed disassembly and cleaning, confirming a power reserve of over 48 hours. This is an exemplary timepiece with no room for criticism.
